Hi all.
Congratulations to the new mummies!
Feeling very sorry for myself today! Throat is even worse today and had me up most of the night so didnt get much sleep at all. Everytime I swallowed I woke up. Ive never had a sore throat like it to be honest. The pastilles dont seem to be helping, nothing does really. Woe is me lol. It is incredibly scratchy and I have bumps at the back of my tongue, cant see further because it makes me retch. Hurts when swallowing so havent even been able to eat all my breakfast.

oh noo..... can you call nhs direct?? you might have an infection (tis ok antibiotics are safe to take if a dr has prescribed).loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Sounds horrible Supermaiden. I had a horrible sore throat like that when I was on holiday and couldn't swallow. Hope you feel better soon.
Have packed new bag and all fits with some room for the missing bits yay.
Just spoke to my Mum and she has got me some cellular blankets and a few other bits but apprently they are a surprise. She said she has been all round the baby shops bless her.0 -
I just feel like crying lol, and then I feel silly for wanting to cry. I hate being ill! Ive tried to have some milk and honey but didnt seem to do anything, went to gargle some salt water and it just made me sick so Im going to knock that one on the head. Trying a hot drink with honey in now. I dont know what to say really if I call NHS direct, I feel like Id be wasting their time since others have so much more wrong with them.:j0

Hello
Congratulations to all the new mummiesI am moving up the list, hurray!! 37 weeks today and it has finally hit me & OH that we're going to have a baby. Keep looking at the moses basket and saying 'we're going to have a baby to put in that very soon!' and stuff like that lol!!
For anyone who wanted cheap pants for hospital / after the birth - Primark seem to be changing from 5 pairs for £2.50 to 4 pairs for the same price. They had both packs when I went in yesterday so I'd suggest getting them sooner rather than later. Thought I'd get these rather than disposable pants as the ones I've seen are the same price, so even if I chuck them it will work out well.
Also ordered my tens pads today - got the machine but didn't get round to the pads until now. Found them on Amazon for £5 a set which seems good as they are the big ones. Have told OH that he might need to make an emergency trip to boots if labour starts before amazon deliver them, oops!!0 -
sammy is very quiet, must be a good sign.
I am now joint 6th, eek!!Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Nothing to report, just checking for news of labouring ladies.
Actually quick question while I'm here, the consultant said first sign will be that bump will drop and should be very noticeable so I've been on bump watch for the last few days and nothing, but thinking about it I don't remember a noticeable drop with DD is she talking rubbish?AKA: PC

Oh I also have another question
the ttc thread would know but I don't want to be insensitive. I know I conceived on day 16 of my cycle (well that was the only day we BD any time remotely around then) so as due dates are based on LMP and a 28 day cycle, and presumably ovulating on day 14 does that mean my true EDD would be 2 days later?
