    Congratulations Due March!

I am creeping up the list eek!

It is a lovely day, haven't got much planned except getting my new hospital bag. Need to do a bit of planning/organising for my baby shower next weekend too.

  • Anyone want a 12 year old who seems to have learnt the art of lying but doesn't seem to understand it's a punishable offence?!

Kids break your heart sometimes :(

Punishable bit not important, what's important is that he knows he has been caught out;)

Morning ladies and bumps and new babies! What a lovely day it is today.

Just had a quick look over the last few pages and want to say a huge congrats to the new mummies- well done!

Just about to go out shopping (highlight of my weekend, maternity leave is rather unexciting...) and me and OH were just talking about milk for our imminent arrival. I'm going to give breastfeeding a go but if it doesn't work out for me and the baby we're going to bottle feed. Got my steriliser, bottles, teats etc but just realised I have no clue what milk formula we should get! Can anyone suggest what they think is best??? Like I say, breastfeeding will be tried but if it doesn't work out for us I'd like to have some formula in the house so my baby doesn't go hungry! Any suggestions ladies???

Alfalfa- I started off BF both mine and stopped after a couple of months with DD and only a couple of weeks with DS.

For DD I used SMA and DS I used Cow & Gate. I believe they are all pretty much the same. Some babies don't get on with certain formulas so don't buy too many just incase.

I plan to BF again and if I give up I'll use C&G simply as it's slightly cheaper.
Aptimal is about £1 dearer than the rest.

It's great your giving BF a go, if you need to go get formula I'd just pick the 1 tin and see how baby takes to it. Hth

Morning ladies, what a busy day for announcements yesterday, have just about caught up.
Congrats kaylzbob and DueMarch. Sammy, i hope your silence is meaning things have progressed for you.
I think we have decided on a name, if someone can add it next time the lis gets done. (i'm struggling to do anything with only one spare arm :) )

Here's another pic of Henry James, named after mine and dh's grandads, i know they both would have loved to have met him.
