Hi all. Congratulations to the new mummies! :D

Not feeling good today. Actually Ive been feeling bad most mornings this and last week. Not had sickness though thankfully, just nausea which is just as bad really lol. I have only had 1 good sleep in 4 nights which isnt helpful.
Im not sure what is up with me but lately I have been feeling rather down and just crying for silly reasons! Husband was at work til 10 last night and I waited for him to get home expecting him around 10:30 and then I get a text saying on my way home now had to stay late. And I got upset because I was waiting for him to get home and he hadnt left yet. He was only 20 mins late getting home but I was waiting for him :o so silly I know. My mum said I should be feeling happy but I dont know why Im not.

Baby has been a bit quiet these last few days, but then I have laid off the pepsi drinks lol so this may be why. I had a can yesterday and it burst to life kicking and everything. Had a bit of a play with baby in the bath too poking my tummy so it would hit back hehe I like that. :)

Apricot I have my scan on Tuesday too - they moved it back a day boohoo! Hopefully we find out at this scan lol, Im going insane not knowing :rotfl: What time is your scan? Mine is at 12:30 I think

this may sound awful to some but glad we found out as I was secretly hoping for a girl and I would probably have broken down in tears in being told it was a boy at birth!! I can't wait now for him to come along

    Hi madbird,

I don't mind what I have, and I haven't found out, however I know where you're coming from, I have always said that if I did really want one or the other, I would find out before the birth, so that I could sort my head out in advance if necessary and then the birth would be happy with no sense of disappointment.

Having said that, there have never been any little boys in my family whilst I've been on the planet, and so I couldn't really imagine having a boy. When DS popped out it was really strange, but it didn't matter in the slightest, he is my baby and I grow with him.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong I don't know? The strainer I've got dunks into the cup like a tea bag. I'm to put a teaspoon of the loose tea inside the strainer, close it, so it is like a ball, and then leave it in the cup of hot water for about 5 min. But it just tastes horrible!! I called my sister and she thought that it just tasted of nothing - but it doesn't taste anything like the teabags I got from H&B. I really can't imagine having 4 cups a day of this sh*t from tomorrow :rotfl:

Ah, no you're doing it right then! Also just tried one of the teabags my friend gave me and they have loads more flavour :D, so you were right on the dishwater as well (I was using teabags that were like dishwater).

Do you have ribena or anything like that you could add to it - might make it more bearable (not very MSE I appreciate!).

    Morning all
:eek:LL -only 16 Mondays! - that means I've only got 14 as having my little lady at 38 weeks all being well - better get my finger out and move house and buy everything!

Re finding out the sex - I've found out with all of mine - though with DS and DD we didn't tell anyone - just kept it to ourselves - think some peeps were a bit annoyed :D

This time I felt sure I was having a girl (mainly due to very similar pg symptoms to those that I had with DD) and we had a clear winner for a girls name which I really liked so I was chuffed when they confirmed it at the scan.

I've named all my children long before they were born - shame I'm not that organised in other areas :o

Huge congrats to Hitchins x :j

Still no news from RBG of the alien?

Digital -with regards to how baby looks , it says in my book that baby looks like your partner for the first 2 weeks. This is because a mum knows her own baby , smell and sense and doesnt need to see face to know her baby is hers but dads dont have that instinct , so baby looks like dad so dads brain can tell is his baby.Apparantly its all mother natures doing , lol

    :rotfl: really? Makes sense :rotfl:

What book is that by the way?

    Ah OK, fair enough :D

Honestly, I would NOT move unless you really have to :) Being in this situation myself with 8 weeks to go until my due date, and 6 weeks to go until we need to move, it is NOT good  Actually it is bl%dy scary :(
