It was those late summer nights sitting outside with a few glasses of wind that did it for us
    .

:rotfl::rotfl:wow never heard of that one.....is it fizzy :p:D

I had a rubbish night last night but it was my own fault as I had hot choc fudge cake and cream which was very yummy at the time but boy did I suffer for it later, eventually had to make myself sick at 2am just to get some relief!:o

Have to go up to the hospital today to the assessment unit or something like that to see the anaesthetist in case of an emergency CS can't really be bothered but doesn't do any harm going I suppose *rolls eyes*

Have decided that I really do need to get organised especially after those BH's yesterday, they started back up later and were pretty painful and moving around wasn't relieving them, think DH got a bit of a fright although he was laughing at the same time. Bubs must have been sitting in a really funny position though which didn't help as I felt this intense movement really low down and then it started to ease off again! Will look at things over the weekend and see what's what!

It's been snowing here  There were flurries overnight and not long ago it started again, although the sun is out now! Hope we don't have anything like we did in December!!

Spaghetti I just read your birth story  All worth it tho because your baby is just gorgeous. I love the sound of having someone for a week to help. Got a really sore throat today , it feels like it has hundreds of little cuts in it , voice sounds fine just agony to talk or swallow :o Are we allowed halls soother type of things? I hate honey , so any sort of honey drink is out the window
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

I'm 12+4 today - how early on am !??!! It feels like a lifetime until I'll have my baby and all of you will have gone!! Getting frustrated at my teeny bump and dressing it - nothing looks good anymore - I'd rather I just had a huge bump instead.

I felt like this a couple of weeks ago Deb but once I got to about 15 weeks it's started flying by!

Im 20 weeks today :j halfway there!

Hopefully RBG is having mummy cuddles by now after all our vibes yesterday!

Your scan must be soon then, Apricot? You're finding out the flavour if you can, is that right? :)

With the birthing ball, it is recommended that if you have SPD to swirl your hips or rock back and forth. I don't think this has any way to start labour, more for helping bubs get in correct position and to ease the ache off your back and pelvis. I must confess I don't use it as much as I should. I think it's because I feel so silly taking up all the floor space we have left in our tiny front room, with it :rotfl:

I overdid it yesterday doing the gardening, and was in agony all night. A bath helped a bit, but I dread going to bed as it is so painful. May have to get a firmer mattress, there is just no support there. Had loads of BH's combined with bubs stretching then holding his hand/foot/whatever there yesterday, and was quite uncomfortable. He's quiet at the moment though.

Is it bad that I didn't even realise Nic had made a typo? And a funny one at that :rotfl: It's still too early for me :o;)

Teenie, I couldn't believe you had snow as it is so sunny here (though windy, and most probably cold), then I saw you're in Scotland and thought, well you are quite far away from me. Where in Scotland are you? My mate lives in Elgin, and she says she gets really bad weather.

Debs, honestly, past the 20 week scan time will start to fly by. I think it helped me for as I had Christmas just after my 20 week scan, so had that 'benchmark' to get to and passed. Make the most of not being uncomfortable :)

Hopefully we'll get some good news from RBG soon

My scan is next Tuesday digital - I am unbeleivably excited! Definitely finding out the flavour - I will refuse to leave until they have told me what baby is! Wondering whether to just book the entire day off work that day and do some shopping?

I would if you can hun! I was dying to do that, but OH only had time off for the scan, so had to take him back to work, and couldn't be bothered driving all the way back into town after! I did do some shopping online though :D

    Looking forward to a pic!

    Oooh - exciting for you!!

I'm torn whether to find out or not. One part of me says not to and leave it as a lovely surprise when he/she is born. But the other part of me wants to buy the right colours etc - and all the white/cream/lemon/mint things we buy beforehand then won't get used.

Tough one. And MIL insists we're not to find out (although she's telling everyone she's having a grandson - called Sam ) - which makes me want to find out just to pee her off!!

    xDx
