It was really emotional Lablover wasn't it. So sad about your family's experience. I think the episode was put together really well and showed the right amount of sensitivity.
Yes I agree I thought it was well put together - although very emotional.
Am looking forward to watching tonight0 -
Apricot - I still feel like that and Sofia is now 3 weeks old, cant believe that this tiny little person is going to be totally dependent on me.
Hope all you ladies are all ok, massive labour vibes for all who need them. Well we're into our 3rd week and although we are totally enjoying Sofia we are exhausted, my advice to you ladies is sleep as much as you can now as when your bubba arrives it goes out of the window.lol.
Sofia is now 7 pnds 3 and has put on just under a pound since last week, I am a very proud (and tired) mummy.lol.[/COLOR] Starting the new year in a good way cooking baby sharkeybabe no2:j:j0 -
It was handled really well. My aunty still says that she had two babies and tells her wee boy all the time that he had a little sister and they have her photo on the wall next to baby pic of their son. The hospital were fantastic and they came home with a bag full of stuff (photots, baby foot prints , hand prints etc) and they were allowed to hold her after she had passed for as long as they wanted. Sorry to bring every down , its just one of those things. I hope we have some nice births tonight , not sore ones with screamers lol
Sorry about your aunty LabLover
Re tonight - yes no dodgy screamers and nice births would be good.
I've got OH to watch a few episodes with me so he can see what to expect for a c section - however he gets really emotional at all the births (he didn't watch last weeks thankfully)
Think I will watch tonights on my own0 -

Im positive my OH will cry when our baby is born.He hasnt cried at any of OBEM but been shocked by alot of the gore and he is really worried about seeing me in pain. He had a bit of a fright when I had my food poisoning scare I can waddling through to the bathroom shaking and doubled over because I was getting really bad cramps , then had to be sick in the bath (OH was sitting shell shocked on the loo convinced I was in labour , lol) Poor wee lambThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Yep me too - but that said my OH is not one to shy away from emotions.
His family have a medical background so he is not squeamish per say though am not expecting him to look over the screen.
Your food poisoning sounds horrendous LL - I must have missed that - what did you eat that caused it?0 -

I'm going to watch OBEM tonight. Usually only half watch it as on laptop at same time.
I've felt absolutely carp all day: bad stomach, bad back, spd really playing up and now feel sicky/acidy.
Rang the estate agents for news on the house we applied for, and they have decided to conduct more viewings this week, just to prolong the agony, and then make a decision. So, we're very annoyed at being messed around like this. We'd just like to know one way or another as this is really stressing us out. Another house has come up, but I am waiting to hear whether they will accept cats before we can arrange a viewing. He was a bit of a kn$b, the bloke I spoke to, as he asked whether the cats have to come with us. Obviously - duh!
Going to have a bath now and see if that makes me feel better. Then going to try new stuff on that has arrived from Peacocks.0 -

Digital - the renting process where you are sounds really complicated and stressfull- round here we just put a holding deposit down to secure the place and then subject to references it's all sorted - hope you have some luck soon
