Sorry I'm not very good at doing pics either. I thought you just copied and pasted from tinypic or flickr?
I end up uploading to my blog then just copying from there.
I uploaded the pics to tinypic and then copied the URL into the insert image bit.
Also will start working on the birth story....0 -
Morning everyone.
We're not having pancakes, i did a trial pancake run and i totally screwed them up. They are impossible to cook and therefore banned from the house :rotfl:
We're going to Toys R Us to get Lilys some presents, not sure why though as she's most happy with two baby wipes or a towel...0 -
Good morning
OBEM was a bit of a teary one wasn't it?? But such cutie babies
I love pancakes - but not very good at making them though! I will have a go I guess.
Still no new births? It's been ages!! Come on boldies:D
Not much going on here - got MIL coming round in a bit to tidy the garden up. DH cut the grass yesterday which officially means that spring is on the way :j Got my 38 week MW appt later this afternoon so we'l see how long I have to wait this time *roll eyes*!!!
Hope everyone and bumps are well x0 -
Urgh - just heard from the hospital. They messed up my blood sample and so I need to go back today to have more taken. I'm terrible at having blood taken and I already have bruises on both arms where the lady struggled to get the blood.
Booo.
xDxFear is temporary, regret is forever.....:happyhear Baby girl born 27th September - 10 days late!! :happyhear0 -
Morning gang. Deb the very same thing happened to me  Except at the start of my pregnancy I had double the amount of appointments as I was classed as high risk and they messed up samples more than once. Was in tears at OBEM last night , especially when the guy got upset about his dad not being there. My OH watched some of it and then went through and watched some golf he said he hates watching it cause he just wants bubs to hurry up and get here , lol Im the opposite I panic everytime I think im going to be a mum
OH got the contract he put in for last week, he is literally working for nothing. He's in the construction industry which has all but dried up so I am happy that he has some work but he is a skilled tradesman and is working for the minimum wage and has to use own van and tools, its disgusting.
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!
Gorgeous baby boy born 7/7/110 -
debski the sample can be damaged when it is taken if its hard to get blood from you, it has happened with me. Next time, if you don't already...wear ultra warm clothes and drink loads of water beforehand. Both will make it easier to get the blood.
sammy you have reminded me, the m/w was supposed to ring with an appointment for my 38 weeks, and hasn't. They have forgotten me again, I'm tempted to say "good"!!Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

I don't cry at OBEM eitherSometimes get a wee bit misty eyed, but never teary.
TBH I have never been a 'coo over someone else's baby' kind of person. I want my own, my own will make me cry etc etc, but other people's don't tend to.
Now animals on the other hand - that sets me off good and proper. Or vulnerable old people on their own at Christmas time. They had some ads on TV over Xmas for the Salvation Army and I couldn't watch them. Also can't watch nature programs if an animal is killed, or worse looses a baby. That makes me so sad. I guess I prefer animals over most people :rotfl:
I only like pancakes if they are very thin, but can't be bothered to make any, so we'll probably have something else for dinner tonight. I am so lazy at the minute.0
