My lovely mum made pancakes after our Sunday lunch , they were awesome. So I dont need to bother tonight.Im not a baby person either but my hormones are everywhere at the minute and I got all misty eyed when my little nephews eye was watering because of the sun and he asked me to "pwease wipe it " my heart melted ,lol Im normally more animal orientated, love my dog to bits and cant stand the thought of animal cruelty. Going to the zoo this weekend , cant wait , I wont be able to walk far ( hurt my foot ) but will jump on the wee bus that goes around.
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

DS and i just made loads of pancakes. but we made the dropped scone (scotch pancake) type. I dont really like the thin crepe type ones either.
Ill be enjoying pancakes through the day mostly with butter but may have jam for a treat.

ive just got a job interview. Its on Thursday though at 10:45am when DS is at home. Its also in Aberdeen which is an hours journey, 45 mins for the interview then an hour back. DS starts nursery at 12:30. i have no one to take him or look after him.
they also dont know im pregnant. its to work in a tourist Information shop in a seaside town starting after the Easter hols. I just though I had nothing to lose by applying. But now I cant go to the interview. even if they change it to the afternoon i wont have time to get back to pick kids up!
I assumed the interview would be where the job is. :(

I shouldnt of applied. i just wanted to feel as though I was doing something for my future. OH is a teacher so he is off all summer so i have the childcare.

Oh Nic thats cr*p,normally interviews are where the job is.My boss still hasnt advertised my job yet ...... I think he thinks he has ages as I still dont have a bump, he will get a shock tho. Im being very brave working up untill 20th June , original due date was 30th june lol.But ive told him if i cant cope then I will need to leave early. This doesnt seem to have sunk in with him.My replacement has ALOT to learn and my baby is eating my brain at a rate of noughts.Thats lucky your OH being a teacher , my lil sister is a teacher also and has volunteered her childminding services (not sure this will last tho , lol)

Of course you should have applied, ring them and say you have childcare for the season, but not for this week, and ask if you can do a phone interview or do it closer to home.

Well done for getting the interview:T:T

    Hello

Sorry I have been MIA, been to see friends at the weekend but other than that been either busy with DIY, at work or asleep :o. Grrrr at third trimester tiredness really kicking in, I can easily sleep for 2hrs after work, then have tea then be in bed again before 10 :D. Lucky OH is being understanding, I'm feeling a bit guilty but there is really nothing I can do about it.

Woke up on my front this morning - I'm not even sure how that is possible at 35 weeks :eek:. Bump was really hard at first, but once I moved / stretched the baby started kicking like mad (as normal) so hopefully all is okay!!

Ddebski, so happy to hear all is okay with bubs :j:j

Nic, do give them a call and explain about childcare, that is a long way to go for an interview, and hopefully they'll make some allowance. Sounds like a nice job to be doing so I hope you get somewhere with them.

Haven't really caught up, so sorry that I have missed everything, hugs & bump rubs to you alll :D xx

Have told work I have a MW appt at 2.30 so I need to leave at 2pm. I don't, my appt is tomorrow but I'm off work anyway tomorrow and so I thought I'd cheek a skive today. Plus the weather is lovely.

I'm going to watch OBEM tonight. I tend to cry at the actual labour, more through fear and 'oh my word, what have I let myself in for' I do get myself into a bit of a state. Then a little blub once baby is in mums arms but it is the labour that gets me going really.

Have catched up as much as I can but cannot rememebr where I'm upto so labour vibes to those that need them and lovely bump rubs to all others.

    congrats on job interview nic

Sammy - wont be able to put nursery pics on til I get it back but have told OH he has to get these bl00dy shelves up today so I can take pics - hope to post them over teh weekend

I cry over animals too and I did tear up when my niece was born as it was a very emotional moment but I think because I expect to cry each episode of OBEM I can't IYSWIM?

I have the urge to shop again - except I need to leave money in my account as I have only been paid half of my wages so far and goodness knows when Ill get the rest of it  Am hoping this is not how it's going to be when Im on ML - Ill be struggling enough as it is on a lower wage and it'll kill me even more if she makes me wait for it!
