but we only paid £60 for the basket and stand - woo hoo
Sadly I took all the covers off to wash them and now cannot figure out how to fit the hood back on
Welcome Debs - great news.
congrats on scan firedrone and labour vibes and stop achy pain vibes to those that need them
That's a really nice basket too, and a steal at £12, but unfortunately out of stock too. Hmm, will have to keep an eye on eBay I think. I don't know if it will be a waste of money as bubs is bound to be tall, both his parents are.0 -

Nice basket found there and thanks for the comment, however I would be concerned at that price as to whether it would fray easily, I'd say give it a real good check over but nice job.
Unfortunately the missus had real bad back pains on Saturday but seems to of calmed down which is good0 -
Loving all the shopping talk. I could do with some more muslins. Picking up the baby rocker tomorrow and I just need to get a "baby on board" sign and a car seat mirror and I'm all done!!!
Dusty - nice basket. Hope you manage to sort the hood out.0 -
Goody, if baby weighs 7 lbs, then I've only gained 5 extra. How much of that is fluid and stuff, I wonder?!Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

I use a kong for my pup - I stuff it with low fat philidelphia and chopped cocktail sausages - she loves it! I also freeze it; lasts her longer - she is a complete greedy guts!!

Lucky you with minimal weight gain! I gave up weighing myself months ago when I realised I'd put on over a stone
My dog never got on with Kongs. He's a real chewer and used to chew the rubber round the hole to make it biggerI just give him pigs ears now which keeps him occupied!

ah I posted the wrong linke
it was this one we got off ebay http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3755589/Trail/searchtext%3ELUNE.htm
Checked it all out and looks great, it did both the sellers kids. Slight fray on one of the handles but easily repaired. I think the seller was slightly miffed I managed to bag it so low, was quite awkward when I handed the £6.50 over. Oh well, she should've put a reserve on it if she wanted more.
The mattress I got from M+P is too small though so have got a new one from Boots for half the price of the M+P one. I didn't kow moses baskets came in different sizes lol.
So £13.50 for the full kit: basket, covers, stand and mattress. Luckily I kept the receipt for the M+P one so will return it this week.
Now to just figure out how to get the blasted hood back on0 -
That looks like the one I have Dusty - mine was from my sister so even more :money:Ill be looking for instructions how to get the hood back on too as covers have been washed and packed away in a vac-bag for now.
I've been offered a crib from my friend too it's this one http://www.mothercare.com/Mothercare-Deluxe-Gliding-Crib/dp/B0030SNC9K?ie=UTF8&ref=sr_1_12&nodeId=44361031&sr=1-12&qid=1299510853 she doesn't want anything for it but I don't know if I really need it. I mean I could have moses for living room and crib for bedroom but Im only in a flat so that seems a bit excessive?
It is suddenly starting to feel real for me that in a few months we will have a baby  it's very scary to think a little person will be dependant entirely on us!:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -
My kong is 100% hard plastic , bought from the vets. The hole in is only just big enough for a bit of food to come out. I unscrew the bottom hold the top end up side down in my hand if that makes sense and pour the biscuits in then screw the bottom on still holding upside down and then put on the floor for dog. My dog gets hardly any food at dinner time as she is fed twice a day and has cereal for breakfast ( frosted flakes
)She can eat cereal really slow cause of the milk but her biscuits at night nearly choke her to death , the kong has been a god send and she is so greedy she bats it about till there is nothing left in. I dont think she ever tries to chew through the hole cause the biscuits come out easy enough. If you use it as a treat ball (its real purpose ) then dog is supposed to stick tongue in to get peanut butter ,meat paste etc. But mine is used to make her meal time last longer if that makes sense and the biscuit comes out easy enough if you hit it so once she cant hear biscuits rattling in it she goes and lies down very satisfied with her self
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!
