Ive only bought a pack of 3 muslins as I got 1 free with SMA club and 1 free with a Fairy sample. Tesco have a pack of 6 white ones for £4 odd.

The thing im struggling to find is newborn white socks. A few baby grows Ive got are footless, plus it will be coming into nicer weather. I was trying to find white ones and cant. they are either coloured or too big. I wish the Huggies started pack had sock in them again instead of hats, I now have 7 hats !! I suppose thats one for each day of the week lol.

I have mothercare roll top ones.. love them.. and they stay on really well. Quidco cashback and codes usually makes them less ffensive to have delivered.. but I just add them in to an order with other stuff anyway.. I found 5 pairs was plenty but mine all wore sleepsuits day and night.

I have loads of pink patterned ones if anyone wants them? They were passed on to me from a friend so clean and only worn by one little girl as I never used them. PM me?
Speaking of hats - do they like you to have a hat for baby when in hospital? - or have I remembered that completely incorrectly and it was me with the hat fetish :D

They often like to pop them one on straight after delivery just to keep themwarm

Edit: How annoying - the towel is only £3.99 on Argos!

Is there not a collection in store option? :)

I managed to get lots of newborn socks from eBay :D

I stay an hour away from the nearest Mothercare, so not worth it really. Neither Tesco or Asda have any white ones. Ill be going shopping on Sat for a few more bits. Will look then. I did manage to get scratch mitts and bibs though. But I remember scratch mits never staying on and using socks instead.

    That is annoying :(

I would like the matching moses basket, but it's out of stock all around where I live and my mum lives. It is in stock on M&P website, but they want £19 more for it....Very annoying.

I dont think Ive bought socks yet , I nearly bought some in ASDA before Christmas but then when I looked at all my sleepsuits they all have feet on them so untill I know flavour and can start buying outfits I dont really need socks .I too am addicted to baby hats.I LOVE them , I have already been told by my mum that Ive bought far too many but they are soo cute. Most pointless (but cute) thing Ive bought was a 3-6 months dressing gown. I cant think baby will actually ever use it , but it was the cutest thing ever.

Sammy my dog gets her dinner from a kong( its like a weebble with a hole in it and dog has to wrestle with it to get food out) its because my dog is so greedy and eats to fast and Im worried she gets a twisted gut. So she runs up and down bashing this kong and has to eat her dry biscuits from the floor,so although its really good for her digestion my wooden floor gets covered in lick marks :o
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Argos have quite a good deal on the Moses Baskets at the mo if your after a stand with it

You save a tenner on the stand so makes the whole package very cheap - I never bothered with a stand in the past but ended up getting this deal from Argos and paying around 40 quid for the basket and the stand.

The M&P basket is OOS in my area too - there are a few other Little Land bargains though

Thanks hun. That's a good deal. I'd really like the Little Land basket as I have the bouncer and changing mat, but I don't suppose it really matters that it all matches. £20 is such a good price, wish I'd seen it sooner really when it was still in stock in my area.

Well, I have bought my final 'big' purchase :T Got a sprung mattress for the cot on Amazon, using my £5 gift voucher I got for completing that survey (thanks Apricot ;)) and free delivery - £33.88 :T It has very good reviews, so will see what it's like when it arrives. Am very pleased as I managed to get a brand new cot and mattress for a little over £60 :D Very :money:

Still got an awful tummy and back ache though :(

    .

I think I'm still in denial that this baby could be born in just under 7 weeks time :rotfl:I totally forgot about hats and things. Apart from the big things (pram, car seat and cot) I have 7 vests, 3 sleepsuits and nappies and wipes oh and muslins wouldn't be without them! Saying that I don't need much more just now do I?? Still need a bag for hospital and sort out TENS machine that's my weekend job (may be next weekend mind you!! :D).
