It's just me at home tonight for tea as kids are at their dad's and OH is working late so I'm not sure either?

Afternoon ladies
Been to midwife today. Discussed my SPD with her (she was so fab last time) and she gave me a stern telling off for even thinking about going back to work (my sick note would have me back on Tuesday)
She told me some horror stories about ladies she has seen after birth and the problems they have had from putting themselves through too much trying to soldier on in pregnancy, and said that if financially I don't have worries (I'm on full sick pay) then I would be stupid to risk it. I think that means that between her and my GP they will look to keep me off until maternity. I told her I felt guilty being off work and she put her fingers in her ears and started going 'la la la la la I'm not listening to you' :rotfl: Husband was most amused. I will listen to her though, as she threatened me with hospital admission last time for bed rest if I didn't stop trying to do stuff!
Physio appointment has still not come through, but midwife said there is a backlog because the obstetric physio has been on holiday.
I'm back in 4 weeks for anti-D injections and another check up. Waiting for GP to call me at home to sort out another sick note for work. Not looking forward to ringing them up and giving them the bad news
I'm really aching now too as we went from the midwife to get DD measured for her dancing costumes (managed to get parked very close so didn't have to walk far), went to sainsburys for a magazine and some bacon, and then whilst there thought the kids would like 10 minutes at the park next door. After getting back in the car, I knew I had done too much. I'm going to suffer nowJust felt so guilty being stuck inside on half term. They appreciated it anyway, and it was so nice to be sat at the park doing something normal. Been looking at wheelchair hire to get out and about because I just can't face being stuck indoors like this, especially when the weather gets better.
Oh, and in sainsburys the clothes and accessories were 25% off so we got the baby a nice blue blanket. It was so soft and snuggly. £3.
Going to put my feet up now and read my Pregnancy and Birth magazine!Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Thanks for all answers on going home clothes. Think I will get some black joggers from Primark as will be useful to wear around the house anyway. I am planning on packing my bag in a couple of weeks so all these things are coming to mind now!0

If your MW suggests something and you don't know why ASK!!!!!!!
Yes was this bit I was refering to above (I bolded to highlight and the shouting refers to the caps on ask)
Good advice for anyone but wasn't sure whose MW you were referring to that's all0 -

Sorry to hear your still suffering so badly with the SPD mrsspendalot
I've had Monday and have got Friday off to do stuff with the kids for half term and I'm lucky that I'm not in pain so can take them out and about - must be rubbish to have to be limited to staying in - mind you not that the qweathers been any good.
Thanks for the tip on the clothing at sainsburys - will have a look later as I've got to go up there to get some bits0 -

It was directed at everyone who had had something said to them and they didn't know why, then asked on here.. For example the ones who had been told to sleep on their left and didn't know why.. if you don't know or understand.. ask.. simple as.. there seem to have been a lot the last few days.. I thought it was perfectly plain in my post.. maybe not *shrug*
Mind you.. the very rare occasion I asked anything I usually got the response 'I don't know'.. which wasn't very helpful! lol and meant I had to come home and read medical research and surverys and reports.. I'm not very good at doing as I am told with no explanation.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Got my clothes from Peacocks and have to say Im disappointed
The colours are just not the same, they showed as a creamy brown colour on the site and in flesh they are more grey/brown. And also my fave top fits too small so probably going to have to take that back, disappointed! Though I guess with my bump it wont look like Im just fat in it lol :rotfl:
