GOT IT? Can you see what it is yet? Jeez we know it's a PARKING charge notice because of who issued it!

The wording tells us they are fake. Why can you not see the simple (generic!) difference?

PARKING CHARGE NOTICE (issued ANYWHERE by a private scammer) = fake.

PENALTY CHARGE NOTICE (Council, or Train Operator, basically a real authority) = real.

    Is that so hard? :rotfl:
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You are still confusing the actions of Apcoca (a PPC that dishes out parking charge notices) with any airport bylaws that might allow towing. Apcoa have nothing to do with any bylaws. They are just a PPC that tries to extract money from motorists (including taxi drivers) who drop off passengers when they are stuck in traffic or at a red light .
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

No you don't. You just assume that is the wording, because that's what they use when they send out dodgy illegal fines for parking in Asda car parks.

If in the case of the bus station at an airport (where they can and do tow away vehicles from), then just as when they are contracted by LA's, they could be issuing a perfectly legal Penalty Charge Notice.

Just read the whole thread, rather than cutting in at the end, and getting things mixed up.

Read the posts properly, and then find out what bylaws actually are.

I haven't said that there is national legislation, I said that if there are different laws governing airports, then they wouldn't be bylaws. And the fact that they can and do tow away vehicles at airports points towards there being different laws covering them.

You really need to READ the bylaws linked to, they don't have the authority in that to ticket vehicles or tow them. As you appear to be incapable of even following the most simple of instructions it's linked below AGAIN

    http://www.london-luton.co.uk/en/download/18/London%20Luton%20Airport%20-%20Byelaws.pdf

To open it you know that thing that moves the cursor on your screen , point it to the blue writing above, tap the left mouse button or if using a laptop keypad and double click on it. Then that will open a PDF document. I suggest you read all of the document as I suppose scroll to section three would be beyond your comprehension, better yet just print it out.
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

No they don't , they give out parking charge notices as there is no bylaws covering this, and the road is not adopted by the council. Really you are making yourself look stupid.

Yes they can and do tow away vehicles for security reasons.

Why don't you put it to the test and see what happens?

No, I'm an honest person.....which is why I hate it when armchair experts give out bad advice. And is also why I suggest that people exercise caution before listening to these armchair experts.

I do however have security clearance to work at Luton Airport, so I understand the tight security for anti terrorist reasons more than most on this thread do.
