    No, not really :(

Oh dear, sounds like my tumble drier may be a failure - I might have to stick one of those JML led thingies inside so that it doesn't got an inferiority complex! :rotfl:

Thanks for stopping by BW, the cake was yummy (even thought it looked a bit naff). Slept well for the first time in ages so I feel alive today. Been busy working on my assignment and it looks like I may have my first draft done by the end of the week. :j (I'm determined to have a break this Easter).

    Happy Tuesday!

Having a good night's sleep really can make such a difference. Glad you feel better for it. :)
  • Whoop! Whoop! The holiday is finally here. :j We went out for a retirement do on Thursday night and by 10pm I was ready for my bed! I was so tempted to curl up under the table and go to sleep - I don't think anyone would have noticed. :rotfl:

Yesterday was supposed to be spent working on my assignment but the weather was so lovely that we made the most of it and walked into town for some lunch and had a nice stroll back along the seafront. I made gallygirl's bacon and lentil soup for tea, which went down a treat too (and there's plenty left to feed the freezer with). The evening was spent chilling on the sofa watching Netfl!x - bliss.

Today I've had a lazy morning and worked on my assignment this afternoon. I've also been out for a run for the first time in about a year which really blew the cobwebs away. I forgot how much I enjoyed it, I really need to try and make more time for running in my life. :) I've also been very MSE and downloaded the latest edition of Runner's World for free on Zinio, so that's my evening planned. I might even have a chocolate Bailey's too - nom, nom, nom!

  • Happy Easter! :easter_ba:EasterBun:easter_os Going out for Sunday lunch a bit later on - nom, nom, nom - so need to get my mojo on and get a bit more of my assignment done. I'm hoping to have it finished by tomorrow (excluding the stuff that i need to scan and add to the appendix when i'm back at work).

Hope the sun is shining where you are.

Ooh yes it was lovely thank you - a roast beef dinner with a huge yorkshire pud plus mountains of veg. I've discovered that I actually like leeks! :D Followed up by sticky toffee pudding and ice-cream. Lush.

Went for a run in the rain this morning, despite having a rubbish nights sleep. Feel so much better for it.

Ooh and I may have just treated myself to a yoga book (using vouchers of course! ;) ). :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

More work on the assignment for me today - i'm hoping to get it finished. :D

    Happy Monday!

  • Had a busy day working on my assignment and aside from proofreading it tomorrow and writing a quick abstract, it's finished!!! :j:j:j (Plus scanning the appendix in when I get back to work). I've finished it almost a month in advance so I'm happy. :D Just one final assignment to do before my course finishes - hurray!

I think I'm going to do a bit of reading and then watch that Marvel film that's coming on tv at 8.30 - plus have some chocolate as I've not cracked open any of my Easter eggs yet! :EasterBun

  • Woke up this morning to find that Ju-Ju the chook had passed away. :( It wasn't wholly unexpected as she's had a bizarre cough for a couple of years now (can you get asthmatic chickens :rotfl:) but seemed perky enough and was eating and drinking. So I've got a grave to dig, probably under the gooseberry bush. The new tumble drier is arriving today sometime between 9.00-12.00, so I'm going to get a shuffle on and try and get it done before then. The other chooks don't seem to be phased by it at all, they're too interested in scratting around for food.
