Sorry to hear about chook :(

Please report back on tumble drier light situation asap - as mine doesn't have one I have to live vicariously through others :)

  • Thanks BW and gallygirl. She's all tucked away now under the gooseberry bush. I'm sat with a cuppa waiting for the tumble drier to turn up - just had a text saying that it'll arrive between 9.30-11.15 depending upon traffic, so we'll see what happens. :) Haha gallygirl - i'll let you know, don't hold your breath though. ;)

  • Been for a run! Didn't want to but enjoyed it once I was out and feel better for it. Also went to yoga last night - didn't want to do that either :rotfl: and it was bloomin' hard work but definitely worth it.

My plan for today is to get out in the garden for a bit this morning and chill this afternoon, so I hope the sun keeps shining. I'm going to my Nanna's for tea tonight - homemade fish and chips - nom, nom!

    Have a lovely day.

    Hi MG

Good to see you are taking some time for you on your hols. Well done on the yoga and the run - I bet you feel better for it but it is oh so tough getting motivated... :T

Have a lovely time with your nanna - tea sounds yummy!

  • Thanks BW and cookie. It was really lovely. My contribution was Angel Delight - think I got the best deal. ;)

Payday today so I've done the money shuffle and paid off my cc. I'll make my monthly op tomorrow. Going out for lunch with some friends in a bit, looking forward to catching up, although there's a creme egg sat staring me in the face and begging to be eaten...hmmm.

I'm hoping that creme egg hasn't made it to this hour of the day :p

Nope. :D As soon as I'd left that post I was like :EasterBun

Lunch was lovely. We had a stroll back along the seafront in the glorious sunshine too and then I spent the rest of the afternoon pottering about in the garden. I've started off some pepper and aubergine seeds so I'm hoping that they'll start showing in a few days.

I also tried to do some crocheting last night - just learning the basic stitches. It was going ok til I knotted it.

Shopping day today (with vouchers of course). Not looking for anything in particular but it will be good to go and have a wander round.

    Happy Friday!
