Evening everyone, I seem to miss days and get on here late! don't know where the time goes, I was up at 5.30 this morning and still rushing round to leave at 8.15 so I could go to the library before work

Hope all the poorlies soon feel better, especially those who should have had dates tonight!

mrsr - re the rats, used to live near open fields and had a cat who thought bringing home a rat to 'mum' was the greatest thing he could do, I used to pick the dead ones up in a carrier bag and stick in the dustbin, as you would expect he once bought home that was still alive, it was after my ex had left me, cue me and about 10 teenagers chasing this bl@@dy rat around the house, the girls were screaming, the boys running round with various things to hit it with, why one thought that using my fish slice would scare a rat:eek::D
I eventually trapped it under a box and asked the said teenage boys to deal with it, whereupon they all suddenly discovered they needed to be somewhere else! I walked for ages over the fields and let it go, I couldn't kill it!

fairylittle - hope your DD has a great night out with her friends tonight and hope she can see that the things she gave him are in the past, best thing for them to be burnt really! as you say, he's a nasty piece of work and its good she has found out sooner rather than later, give her a big hug from me.

Am wondering what to stick in the slow cooker for soup, need some for lunch tomorrow, searching the kitchen it seems to be lentils, carrots and chilli.

OH is out tonight, his job is still on the 'not sure whats happening next' theme.

Have a good evening everyone xx

    So quick run through again.

Hope everyone not feeling good / unwell, hope you all get better soon.

Hope your case goes well taplady

Its blooming freezing here, really nasty strong winds, so OH picked up the boys form school todya.I nearly got blew off my feet . The blooming car door nearly smashed into my dodgy knee, luckily my legged it and caught the door, before it hit me.

Just had a scrummy tea of HM lasagne, salad, hot HM brownies and leftover ice cream, Hmmm yummy.

Feeling very proud of myself today, been attacking the sewing pile. So far replaced all and patched up my coat, sewed a pair of tihgt, two pairs of trousers and a bra :D:D.

Tomorrow another busy day of planning, making bags and sorting more carp out.

    Evening everyone

Sorry to hear of those poorly, get well soon. Hope all goes well Tappers, thinking of you.
Last night DD phoned from Oz and said she was wanting to come home. I think I have persuaded her to stay till Easter (I have booked a flight to go and see her!) and she can come home after that. She enjoys the lifestyle but feels too alone where she is. She is at a boarding school and the only other person doing the same as her is a German guy who isn't much company. She has just spent the last 7 weeks at various friends in Sydney so getting back to 'normal' life is going to be tough. She wants to come back to apply for a working holiday visa and go back! As long as she is happy I'm ok.

DW been on and bedding washed, that will have to go on the airers to dry. Looking forward to snuggling in a nice clean bed later. Went for a swim after work and just trying to catch up here.

    Take care all. XX
