Morning All
DS is up  surprise surprise I think it is either the lighter mornings or the earlier nights that are doing it. His lunch box is made so I feel a bit redundant today .
DH is taking me up to the cemetary today because it is 25 years since my Dad died ( I was 27) Where do the years go?
Apart from that I am going to have a relaxing day and catch up with some more crafting.
esmf... It just goes to show that if you dig your heels in you get results, I am really glad you got paid at last but don't let him think that he can get out of it next month.
Well I am off for some brekkie
Have Good days all xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Morning all.....lovely day here after an unusualy wintery one yesterday..... it rained on and off all morning which always plays havoc with the electrics here...after the computer shutting down for the 6th or 7 th time by lunchtime I left it turned off until this morning......it then rained steadily from 4pm until around midnight with a few power cuts inbetween..
I love this weather as it reminds me of england and while it makes a lot of people miserable here you will find me in the best of moods! People dont understand especially as we dont need rain for our crops[we have underground wells for that] but I always say I need it for my soul!
Having no computer meant I spent the day doing paperwork and sending out invoices.........as well as farming we have a very small gas station. The prices here have reached an all time high here at around 7.40 shekels for a litre.......I think 1 pound is around 5.9 shekels which would make it about 1:25 pounds a litre.......
off to office in a mo for more paperwork...no idea whats for dinner .i have enough soup and rice for hubby so I might have eggs.we'll see.....
glad you got paid esmf
dont spend your 10p all at once HH.........
hope everyone has a good day.......0 -
esmf well done on sticking to your guns
HH don't spend it all at once:eek:
Good and bad news on the money front. On the bad side I get my last wage in Feb so need to get going earning money in whatever way I can but on the good side I wanted to write a list last night and pulled the notebook out from the side of my bed and found £80 in it:j:j:j Neither of us can remember why it is there but it was a lovely surprise and will really help this week YAAAY:money:things like this do not happen to me!
Have DB and SIL coming for tea so have already polished and tidied this morning just need to run the Vac round. I am doing chicken wrapped in bacon with mash and veg and then raspberry and coconut slice with custard for dessert. I already have most of the ingredients so will just pop to Mr A for a few bits.
I also need to wash and blow my hair. DSIL is lovely but always looks fabulous and I always feel I need to make an effort for her IYKWIM. Also have a couple of dropping off errands today.
I have no appetite at the moment which is not like me at all. Didn't fancy any tea last night and not wanting breakfast which is not like me at all. Oh well it should help with the weight loss.:T

Good stuff esmf!
Have been ringing my doctor non stop trying to get through to book an appointment since 8, finally got through and got one for 11.30 which means I'll miss my lecture but I need to go! I always put off going as I feel fine in mornings when I need to book!
Had a rubbish night sleep, had fever in the evening again which went but then came back just as I was trying to sleep, I was awake with chills until 3am grrrr
Hopefully my lecturer will let me in late, then I'm off to get tea bags and lipstick, then home to work. Mystery man asked me out again tonight but not sure I'll be up for it, my rightful place right now is home and in bed with a cuppa. Might have some LO sugarless rice pudding for brekkie

Did one load of washing this morning and hung it out to (hopefully) dry, will be doing another load when I get home (which will go in the TD) and then ironing
At work till 3pm, need to pop to the post office and then home

fairylittle - Glad you daughter was strong enough to leave the critin (sp:o). You haven't let her down. Sometimes in those situations people don't tell anyone as they feel embarrased, ashamed and scared. The more often it happens the more immune to it they get, So well done her for being strong x
DS was wanting to get up at 3.30am screaming the house down, so bought him downstairs, put tv on and micheal roux (sp) service, he crashed out at 4.45am. So today is going to be a very long day.

Morning everyone, is there room for one more???
I horrible and overcast here... just waiting for the rain to come! Better then the cold though, considering that my boiler is playing up and my new one doesn't get installed until 14th!
Last night was a bit crazy, we were supposed to have Pizza and wedges, when I got home my OH had the wedges in the oven, but it ends up that he got bread dough out the night before instead of pizza dough!! So I ended up making an scrambled egg and potato (with onion and cheese) type dish! Tasted nice, but it's thrown the meal plan right off for the rest of the week as DS had his heart set on Pizza! So last night I got out the Pizza Dough (OH keeps joking it's shortcrust pastry tonight!), and pot luck thursday.
Breakfast today was HM bread (weezl's recipe) and lunch is leftover Pea and Ham soup from the weekend with more HM bread! I am loving the bread so much, I have to make more this weekend (oh and I LOVE my new slicing machine too!!!!) I feel so much fuller eating this bread. Work provides food, but I have found that I eat too much, bringing in my own food really curbs the cravings and fills the belly! And I am not eating crisps anymore (evil stuff!)
Last night my OH and I did a review of what 'actually' came in and out... and I am pleased to say that we are living within my OH wages, so when my current job ends in 9 weeks we will be just fine until something else comes along.
My DS is begging me to go part time, he wants his mum to be home more... and I think if I can find something that is exactly what I am going to do. because PT at a supermarket would get me 75% of what I get now at FT (after paying for travel to and from work, and childcare)!
Hope you all have a great day xWe spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy! Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240 -

Morning all

Well I've been awake since 5am and up since 5.30 as OH and I decided to do a dummy run to my place of work in the hope that I'll start next Monday. It's an hour's drive away and even at 6-7am some of the traffic we encountered was horrific! Oh well, as everyone has pointed out to me, not only will I get used to it, I also only work 3/4 days per week, and if I can't stand it, I only have to stick it out for 6 months.
Apart from that, I've achieved nothing and have a serious case of CBA. OH is sorting one of the old cars out today so we can sell it, and putting dad's dead car on eBay. Currently he's busy sorting out load liners and seat covers for my new car so the doggos don't ruin it.
Dogs were walked on the way back and both behaved beautifully, so I don't even have to do that. I think I might go back to bed for a bit.
Dinner tonight is something fishy, prawns probably. Will try to get some motivation later so I can clean the bathroom properly and sort the bedroom out.
Have a good day all.
