Happy St Patrick's Day :D sounds like you've had a lovely time. I like farmers' markets. Well done for not spending anything in Debenhams.

I've just had a look at that book. It looks good. Let me know how you get on with it.

    Will do :)

I booked myself 4 easy mystery shops today. The fee is only €6 each plus refund for purchase but I'm tying to get that increased a bit. I did the first one at lunchtime. Job involves going to pharmacy counters and asking for something for a headache to see which brand is being recommended. I don't mind buying a few boxes of painkillers as I'm really low on them and they are necessary to have in stock anyway.

    I'm in such a mood today :(

Day started with being unable to move my car because somebody had parked behind it not leaving enough space to back out. Had to get the bus instead which was fine except I hadn't allowed enough time for that so I was late for work. Home now, the car is still there

Having money problems. On Friday I transfered some money to my credit card to pay my car tax. Then today I realised that there was €3.14 in my bank account because the house insurance payment had gone out and I'd forgotten to look at the calendar where I write the bills in.

The SKY payment of €25 is due tomorrow or the day after and I'm not paid until Thursday. So to avoid an unpaid charge I put my credit card in the cash machine to withdraw some of the car tax money, then re-lodged that to the bank account. Really annoyed with myself because there are charges for withdrawing cash from a credit card but it's not as bad an unpaid charge.

Then toxic friend has left me messages to call her, I assume she wants to meet for lunch again. No idea why she bothers, I never, ever call her unless she leaves a message telling me to.

    Positives:)

My iphone bill which arrived today is €0.00. They finally credited me that free month I was promised when I signed up.

Catalyst mystery shopping company rang me and offered me 2 more mystery shopping jobs at phone shops.

I have 3 packs of headache pills from the mystery shopping jobs I did at lunchtime :p

I called the toxic friend, she needs me to help her shop for clothes on April 30th. That's ages away so I can cope with that :A

Have the 3 mystery shopping reports to do, not in the mood for scanning receipts and taking photos of boxes of Nurofen/Panadol.

I'm ok thanks, just seem to be feeling a bit down this week. Got paid today so everything's up to date but the mortgage will take most of what's in the account again so it's going to be another frugal week.

Was mystery shopping for phones at V******* today. Was rather funny because an overly confident sales assistant was adament that the best phone in the shop or on the planet possibly was a Samsung Galaxy S, 5 times better than any other apparently. Then his own phone rang and he took it out of his pocket........an iphone:rotfl:

These mystery shopping jobs have taught me that every month there is a particular phone they are trying to push on people, usually the one on the cover of the shop brochure. So if you need a new phone just choose the one you like yourself, don't be influenced by the sales staff :)

Then I was rather flattered when a guy who was handing out flyers for a pub crawl to student types handed me one :) I'm more likely to be found crawling form Boots to Debenhams :D but €10 gets you 4 shots (vodka, captain morgans, apple scourz and jagermeister) and entry to a club. Very MSE that!

I also dropped into Boots to look at the new Poppy King lipsticks and lipglosses for No7. They are more modern than the usual No7 stuff and I really want one (or 4 :o)

Still haven't done the mystery shopping reports.

    .

    Welcome to my world :o

Still better that you know your exact financial position and can adapt your lifestyle rather than having your head in the sand and getting nasty letters from the bank. There's always an upside :)

Definitely, I've been rather nervous of looking at my internet banking and my bills calendar lately but nobody's hasseling me with letters or phone calls about debts, that must be really frightening.

Had a short 40p survey from Crowdology today, was kind of interesting, it was about Prim**k clothes and had one from Europinions too. Was the first time in ages I've had a survey from either of them. The new onepoll is still a bit annoying but it's not too bad.

Does anybody know is it true that the supermarkets get money for every mention  Is that why everybody is spelling the shop names funny on here? A%da, Mr T's, etc. Is it just supermarkets or is it every business?
