Don't feel bad about your hair - I spend a fortune on my nails and have no intention of giving it up :p. And as for being barred from MSE - in my opinion you earn your money and you choose how you spend it!

I agree with Shoe Gal. It's important to do things that make you happy even when DWD. OK so you may have spent all that money on your hair but at least you have something to show for it and are less likely to spend money elsewhere to cheer yourself up. Feeling that you look nice is so good for your overall wellbeing.

:T for the bargains at Debenhams.

Thanks :A But you know when you look at the debt free wannabe board and people get flamed for spending anything at all on hair, nails, clothes.....but I've had grey roots since my mid 20's :o for mental health reasons I have to get them coloured. Danny the hairdresser says he loves grey hair because it keeps him in a job!

Spent lunchtime fleecing Debenhams again with my 2nd voucher. This time I got a pair of brown leather cowboy style boots with studs from Faith (should look good with tights and a dress or coat) RRP €85, 70% off so €25.50, then €10 off made them a very MSE €15.50 :T Wish I had more of those vouchers.

Had a refund of €14.46 today from my old phone contract which I cancelled before Christmas. Pays for the boots I guesse. This really has been shopping week!

    Hiya

Just read that list on your Julie&Julia post. LOVE IT :) Might steal...
Dont feel bad about spending money on your hair. I dont feel bad about buying something from one supermarket thats 2p cheaper in the other one 5 miles away.
Hmm looks like we'll both be barred from MSE!!

    !

Have you watched the film? It's like cooking before Jamie Oliver and Nigella arrived.

I'm not good at old style MSE, Grabbit and Up Your Income are my natural homes on MSE :D

I've just been doing onepoll surveys, at £20.90 now.

I think OnePoll are far more generous now. Loads of 15p and 20p surveys. Just flicked on and I have bout another 70p worth of surveys waiting but it looks like it's on a go slow again.....

I've been screened out from a lot of their surveys, still doing ok with it though.

Just had a Groupon email: €8 for 2 Zumba classes, that's really good value except it's in Dublin so not local to me. Don't think I'd like Zumba anyway but wouldn't mind trying it for that price. The Groupon thread on here is full of complaints. Sort of understandable if a previously quiet business gets swamped with 1000 new customers all of a sudden. Don't think it's quite as popular here yet so the customer service isn't suffering.

There's an offer on Grabbit where you can get a completely free pair of tights. The voucher is for £6 and if you keep the order under £6 postage will be free :) Try it! I've just ordered mine, it does say UK only but I've just had an order confirmation. So hope they arrive.

It's Census night tonight in Ireland. Mine's almost filled in, will finish it tomorrow. No enthusiasm for it.
