Passes the not so MSE "old style" biscuits around- Jacobs elite chocolate mikado- same style as chocolate kimberly but even more decadent. They are new, just bought them today. But 99 calories and 4.1g of fat per biscuit.....

Crikey 99 cals per biscuit :o

They are my downfall - I don't buy them for home but I really pig out when I'm at work. Actually this week I'm trying to cut them out (them and crisps) and I do feel slightly better for it.

I do like a choclate biscuit with my tea though.......:(

Onepoll is really annoying me  The new surveys are very long and the pages are loading so slowly that I'm flicking between onepoll and MSE to avoid boredom. It's lunchtime and I have other stuff to be doing.....time for a few more of those 99 calorie biscuits I think.

I won a t-shirt from a weddings website. It's a copy of the I :heart2: NY ones but instead it says I :heart2: WD. Probably not very wearable except for around the house or bed.

2 dvd's arrived today from screenclick "Valentines Day" and "Julie and Julia". That was really fast.

Despite moaning a lot about onepoll this week I made £3.20, new balance is £19 :T

Just bought another Groupon deal: €2 instead of €4.25 for a large smoothie :)

Did well on the flowers for mother's day too! Tesco had tesco value half price bunches of 12 roses for €2.75. They are pretty much the exact same as the 4 times more expensive ones except for rather nasty wrapping with "half price" marked very clearly on them. I got 3 bunches in white, peach and pink with change from €10 :money:

There was a little girl who looked about 10 shopping with her mammy, I overheard them complaining that the flowers were very expensive so I pointed out my bargains flowers and suggested removing the wrapping and putting them in a vase. The mammy looked a little shocked that the flowers I was holding were so cheap and the little girl was delighted and told me they were for her granny :T

I can spot a bargain from miles away :rotfl:Useful skill to have when you are poor!

Tonight I watched "Julia and Julia". Kind of glad I didn't buy this, I enjoyed it but wouldn't really want to watch it again. Meryl Streep was amazing as always but I wouldn't want to eat, never mind cook most of the food in it. I was searching for the original blog when I found this, a list of life lessons from the film:

1 – You’re never too old to let your light shine
2 – Some people are late bloomers
3 – Take what you know and expand on it
    4 – Try something new
    5 – Keep learning
    6 – Be persistent
7 – Do what you enjoy – you never know who you might inspire
8 – If you feel lost, know that you are not alone. At times many of us feel that way.
9 – One seemingly small step can end up changing your life
10 – Keep doing what you enjoy – you never know who is watching, reading, or listening, that can have a positive impact on your life
11 – Everybody loves eating good cooking
12 – Have self-discipline when it comes to something you want to accomplish
13 – You can’t always do it alone. Sometimes you need help from others.
14 – You have something to give; you have something to offer this world
15 – Don’t take your loved ones for granted
    16 – Have a sense of humor
17 – You are responsible for finding your own joy
    18 – Don’t sit around complaining – take action!
19 – Mistakes will be made. Clean them up the best you can and keep on going.
20 - It is never too late to be who you might have been.

I've just finished the last 5 reviews needed to order a €20 voucher for the local shopping centre :)

Have an appointment to get my hair coloured again tomorrow, it's exactly 6 weeks since my last visit when I got the colour stripped out and the roots are really bad, the colour has faded and it's a mess in general. This is an expense I could do without. That and petrol, how much more expensive can it get

Just got another €5 voucher, for Boots this time :jGot this for re-registering with the GFK media panel. I gave up on this ages ago because there are no guaranteed rewards, just prizes which I never won and it was almost as time consuming as doing a toluna survey which at least gives some guaranteed reward for my time.

Now where can I get more vouchers from  I find them to be an excellent alternative to money :D

I'm really happy with my hair :) The copper which looked orange to me is all gone and instead I have brunette hair with gold hi-lites that look a bit blonde through the ends. It looks really natural, as if the hi-lites have been there for ages and are growing out. I told him I wanted hair like Kate Middleton :rotfl:He didn't really know who she was :o but did a quick internet search on his phone and announced "oh that wan who's marrying William"

Unfortunately I spent more than I was supposed to :( I had booked in for an all over colour but he suggested the hi-lites as well. I thought I'd be spending €60-70 but instead paid €95. Well €90 but I felt obliged to leave him a €5 tip especially after he gave me my change in €5 notes. Tips really shouldn't be necessary at those prices but at least it's much less than I paid last time.

My hair is a major financial problem for me :( It's long and I have grey roots so the hairdresser visits are the only way I can keep it looking presentable. There isn't much I can do about it except keep mystery shopping so that I have a little extra money to pay for it but I am well aware that if I posted a statement of affairs on the debt free wannabee board I'd probably be barred from MSE for spending so much on my hair.

I also used one of my Debenhams "spend €20 get €10 off" vouchers to get:

Henry Holland purple check wellies-bit out of season now so reduced to €11.25 RRP €37.50. I wanted these during the snow a few months ago but they were way too expensive.

A purple Lepel bra RRP €28 but reduced to €8.55.

Then I needed something to bring the cost to €20 so I added a pair of Marie Claire tights RRP €6 but reduced to €1.80.

Paid €11.25 for items with an RRP of €71.50 :T and got better value than the Grabbit board! Strange that it worked on sale items. I thought it wouldn't.

Can't justify ordering the perfume parlour perfumes now but I will as soon as I get some paypal money from surveys or mystery shopping to keep it money neutral.

Will mostly be hiding in the house for the rest of the month due to lack of money. It's not so bad though, I have the exercise classes to go to and the screenclick dvd's to keep me going.
