Those plates sound great. I love interesting bits of crockery and could spend all weekend pushing round charity shops and boot fairs looking for lovely pieces. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0

Had another £5 Amazon voucher today, my first from clubhouse. Sign up here http://survey.interquest.com/tc/ws4.html
I found this on MSE ages ago. They send a survey once a month about sport asking which games you watched (or none in my case, I watch soaps and news, never sport). It's quick to fill in and you don't get screened out. You get about a week to fill it in before the survey expires. Each survey earns you 1 point and 5 points = £5 Amazon. Takes 5 months to earn 5 points so don't bother if you're in a hurry :rotfl:They do email the voucher to you automatically when you reach 5 points so it's a reputable site.
Having no interest in sport I find it rather boring but it only takes a few minutes so I'll continue with it. £45 in my Amazon account now:TTotal debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -

Well done on the surveys! I've been so lazy with them lately X'The road to a friends house is never long'0

- Had lunch at Nandos, enjoyed the peri-peri chicken but it is seriously overpriced. My diet coke was flat and my friends tea was just a cup of hot water with a teabag. Have the comment card filled in to post tomorrow.
- Went to the Boots near Nandos and got a No7 Hair protection mist for €0.45 using one of those No7 vouchers. It's supposed to protect your hair from the sun. I don't like No7 much but those vouchers feel like gift vouchers, you just have to use them...
- Bought a plastic storage box (half price €3.50) Packed all of my hats, scarves and gloves into it nice and tidy and even made space for it in the wardrobe:A
- Changed the bedclothes
- Wrote up a mystery shopping report from a shoe shop assignment I did for International Service Check on Wednesday. Was seriously procrastinating on this, they wanted a written report plus the usual questionnaire for only €12 and I really wasn’t in the mood for writing it up. Anyway it’s done now.
- Few surveys from onepoll and toluna
- Had my census form delivered by a lovely girl
- Hoovering
- Got some washing dry
- Hair washed, left a conditioning mask on it for half an hour

I'm exhausted, one of my musician friends dropped in last night on his way home from a gig....at 2am (He did call me a few hours earlier so I was expecting him in case anyone's imagining an unexpected knock on the door at 2am:eek:) He stayed until after 4 and cheered me up lots except I'm not a night time person and things like that really mess with my body clock especially when I haven't been sleeping well lately.
He brought wine and noticed that my hair is a different colour which I've sort of forgotten about by now. Men usually aren't good at noticing that sort of thing, it's not as if I went blonde:rotfl:
Then I slept until after 8 and had to go into town for a quick coffee meeting to collect some documents from somebody for work. Was no hassel because I love going for coffee except for being tired. It's cold and there was some snow (in March:eek:) I have no money to even be looking at clothes so I ended up in Boots again :wall:Thankfully I didn't buy anything this time.
On my way back to the car one of those market research people stopped me asking if I would do a tasting of tomato soup for €5 :TIt took 10 minutes and the soup was rather nice. Wish I could do things like that every day to offset my random spends
Now I'm going back to bed and setting the alarm for 2.30 then I'm going to drive to my mothers house. I sound so messed upTotal debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -

Back from my mothers with a lovely bunch of daffodils, my favourite flowers. I have the electric blanket on and I'm going to bed really soon, no motivation to do anything else.
I checked toluna but weekends are useless for surveys. I think that doing 1 survey a day Monday to Friday plus the sponsored polls should easily earn a monthly £15 voucher, maybe even more. I never even look at, read or reply to the opinion topics because I just don't like toluna but it seems to be rather profitable as survey sites go.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
I had to turn off the news, I can't look at some of the pictures from Japan,
don't think I've ever had to do that before.
Rather annoyed about something minor that happened today. The car park here was overflowing last night when I got back from my mothers so I couldn't park outside my house. I parked by the footpath on one of the internal roads in the estate. Bit awkward to explain but anyway I've done this before and other people do it all the time too.
This morning there was a printed A4 page under my wiper saying "NO PARKING HERE PLEASE. YOUR VEHICLE IS OBSTRUCTING THE ENTRANCE TO THE SQUARE AND YOUR NEIGHBOURS GARDEN (No 80) HAS BEEN DAMAGED. THE GARDAI (POLICE) HAVE BEEN INFORMED"
Where to start!- I didn't damge the garden, neither did any other car owner. It was damaged by a large rubbish truck a few weeks ago and has since been repaired.
- My car wasn't obstructing anything, that's why people feel ok about parking there, it just makes the very wide road a bit narrower
- No 80 isn't even my neighbour I live at 40 something
- I don't believe they informed the police, it's a private estate not a public road, the police can't do anything about it and wouldn't care anyway
I'm lucky to live in a lovely area but it's rather unfriendly round here. A lot of the houses are rented to Polish people which is probably why they included the translation for Gardai (Gardai is the Irish word for police). There are a few middle aged home owners here who look down on people in rented houses and think they can frighten them with threats about police. But I own a house here too and I don't see why anybody can appoint themselves to be a traffic warden.
I really want to ask the people at No 80 if they'd prefer people to double park in front of their cars so that they couldn't move them at all or where they would park themselves if they came home to find other cars parked outside their houses
