Done :A The Polish painter is now known as the opinionated Polish painter, he seems to complain about everything. He doesn't like the paint he was given for the job he's doing, doesn't like the colour of the paint, doesn't like most of the coffee places he's been to.........

He seems to still like me and is delighted with the radio/cd player I brought him. I carefully selected some cd's for him even though I've no idea what he likes (The Script, Killers, Kings of Leon, things like that). When he was in my car he started going through the cd's he found . I have a lot of country music cd's in the car because the love of life ex and lots of my friends work in that business and people are always giving them to me. Guess what he doesn't like that music (I wouldn't have expected him to, most people don't).

Then he asked if I had bought new shoes :wall: The shoes in question were my Reebok easy-tones which he saw in the back of the car. He decided he liked those :undecided Strange, sure they are really comfortable and a good brand but I doubt they'd be getting many compliments from @shoegal :rotfl:

I've had another "thank you so much" text now that he has the radio and knows where the shops and internet can be found I think he'll survive much better on his own. He'll have to because I definitely won't be visting much from now on. I'm bored with conversations about paint and DIY.

He's actually very good looking and fit with a perfect six-pack so it is rather ego boosting walking around with him :rotfl:I did notice some girls checking him out (they are so welcome to him)

@Souk If we lived in the same town I'd send him round to you

No there isn't. There is like zero chemistry and I don't like talking about paint. Being his taxi driver doesn't suit me either, I don't get why he doesn't drive .

The Happiness Project lady says you should exercise on Monday because if you do, you are more likely to manage 3 times a week. I think she's right. Unfortunately I had no time today (or I would have plenty of time if Curves wasn't closing at 7)

I'm run off my feet today and to make it worse I'm just back from yet another visit to the painter.

Got a text asking if he could borrow €50 until tomorrow when the lady he lives with will bring him money.

I didn't question this and brought him the money but it looks like he might not have a bank account at all and that the lady he lives with manages all those things.

He has run out of money because he spent €500 on building supplies this morning. The man who lives next door to the house he's working in drove him to the shop. This man is now his friend too because painter is lovely compared with previous noisy tenants.

Can't believe I had to visit again, he's so needy. At least I'm certain I'll get my money back. He's so honest, just not very independent.

Yay progress :T When I was visiting earlier I noticed a sign for an internet cafe very near the shop he has being going to. Told him this and I had a text earlier to say he found it (all by himself :T)

It's like training a puppy @shoegal See how this really couldn't work. He's AMAZING at working/painting/building/DIY/fixing things but work seems to be all he knows.

Not so much progress myself, I got lost earlier, was delivering some work documents to a place on the Northside, found it ok but got lost on way back (in rush hour traffic). Saw a sign for city centre and followed that but it must have been the back road because it was all narrow streets and steep hills with cars parked on both sides. Nightmare. It did bring me to the city centre and I was ok then but stressful a waste of petrol.

Lucky it was me who got lost and not the painter-he would probably need fire and rescue to get him out of a situation like that :rotfl:

A car just drove in to the car park here and I could hear the music they were playing, it was Amy Winehouse "Back to Black" which I have in my car today too. It's rather apt on the day of her funeral

Not heard from him since about 7 last night, no goodnight or good morning text. I'm going to assume he has run out of phone credit and has no idea where to buy it or doesn't have money to buy it because he would have spent most of the €50 I lent him on cigarettes. His landlady is calling to him at 1.30 so I assume she will help him out today and he won't be needing me. Sooner he gets this city job done and goes home go her the better.

He invited me for dinner tonight. I declined, just said Sorry I can't tonight. Now he probably thinks I'm with my "boyfriend" and he might be really disappointed. I feel really bad, I know he just wants to thank me and I'm not being very appreciative but I could think of nothing worse.

I have no idea if he planned on cooking dinner or buying it.

What I really want him do is let me alone, not text me, not buy me things, not try to give me money for petrol...actually I'd love money for petrol but I never accept it from anybody.

I probably will have to call tomorrow, I do want my €50 back. I'm getting my hair done tomorrow (overdue) which isn't great timing because going round there with long shiney glossy hair will only be encouraging him.

I've washed the "bumble and bumble" powder out of my hair and there must be nearly 2 inches of grey roots I better not run into anybody I know in the morning.

Not much in the mood for D..... the hairdresser either, he never shuts up so I'll have to chat to him for too long tomorrow as well.

I know I sound so cranky tonight.
