I never thought I'd say it but I'm sick of CDWM, its just repeated all the time and focuses more on the !!!!!y diners than anything else.
Well done on the onepoll :)

I'm already getting a little tired of having to watch it every night. Perviously I've just seen episodes now and again but an Irish version is a total novelty for now :)

My £40 onepoll reward has just arrived by paypal and my new balance is £3.30.

I'm really disappointed with the Benefit freebies from Glamour magazine, (benetint, highbeam, poisetint). They are tiny when compared with previous full size Benefit freebies.

Knew I'd forgotten something: Was really sad to hear that Brian Linehan (Irish politician and former Minister for Finance) died last night aged 52. He battled pancreatic cancer so bravely in the public eye and he was working right up until the end. RIP

I had my first weigh-in and measure at Curves since joining and according to the girl there I've lost 4lbs :T not bad considering how little effort I've been making and I certainly haven't been starving myself.

I have to say I was really impressed with the printout she gave me, I never had anything like that in a "proper" gym when I was a member a few years ago.

Apparently I've lost 3.25 inches (1 from thighs, 0.75 from hips, 0.5 each from arms, abdomen and bust)

My body fat has gone from 28.5 to 27.2

Weight 149 lbs down to 145 lbs (10 st 9 lbs to 10 st 5) :undecided except I'm almost certain that when I joined she said I was 10st 6  and the Boots scales the day before that had said 10st 7 lbs. So there's a good bit of variation there. Plus as I keep telling other people I'm convinced hormonal changes and time of the month can influence the figures too so to summarise I'm not fully convinced by the figures.

The chart also gives my total attendance as 12 times in the month or 3 times a week.

The chart does seem to have helped my motivation and I'm going to try and have a higher number for attendance next time. (Higher attendance = much better value for my money)

And guesse what arrived in the post this morning.........the Shred DVD :rotfl:(free with Amazon vouchers from surveys:money:)

Wow well done! Great result!! Good luck with the shred, I've just started level 2. Stick with it!! I havent measured myself and havent checked weight in a while but i feel trimmer and less wobbly if that makes sense:rotfl:

@Kerry Not sure if you've come round to my way of thinking about Louisa yet but here's why I'm furious with her now  At Vickys party Louisa appeared to be wearing one of Vickys bracelets. Vicky charges €500+ for those bracelets so it was very generous to have given them as gifts. If an almost stranger gifted you that the least you could do is be some way nice when speaking about them. I don't mean she should have pretended to have loved everything but she could have been a bit more polite.

Ok maybe she was just trying to advertise the bracelets by getting them worn on tv but I'd happily advertise the bracelet in return for a free one :)

Rather jealous of Vickys lovely house too!

I STILL haven't seen the last episode of Come Dine With Me from Cork! I have it sky plussed, just haven't gotten round to it. Have seen the first episode from Dublin, some strange ones in there as well. The weight watchers leader who described herself as a lecturer in health and nutrition! And the slightly strange psychology guy.

That's brilliant results about curves! (or with curves). Wish I had the dicipline (def didn't spell that right!) to do that!

I'm rather good at going there, now if I could just cut back on the eating as well..........

Had free tickets :T for a preview of Bridesmaids so went to see it this evening. Didn't really appeal to me so I'd never have paid to see it. I did laugh quite a bit but I really hated the toilet humour (I'm a lady :rotfl:) so for that I'm not recommending it to anybody, although loads of people were laughing so it's probably just me.

I've never had free cinema tickets before. I know there's a thread for them on here but that's for UK venues. Not even sure how I got these ones, I had an email offering them but I don't recall signing up. I filled in the feedback survey so I hope I get future invites :)

Which Shred DVD did you go for Mags?
It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :j
