Yes thank youJust been busy and a bit lazy about updating. Had to bring some work home this evening
Have to get the report from an audit in for tomorrow morning. Deadlines seem to be getting tighter all the time.

I wanted this but had like zero disposable income to buy it, car tax = this weeks excuse for having no money.
Not sure I needed it anyway, I'm already paying for Curves and am just managing my 3 times a week even though I aim for more. The girl there this evening told me I need to loose an inch from my hips  Well if I want to look like Pippa Middleton I guesse she's right, I probably need to loose more than that, but it's strange, this girl is bigger than anyone using the gym. I wouldn't have the nerve to tell someone much smaller than me that they need to loose weight :rotfl:
Taste of Cork was ok but I didn't enjoy it loads, only stayed for an hour and a half and had seen everything by then. If it had been my first time to attend something like that I'd probably be more enthusiastic. Tried all of the samples, bought some nice cheese and got a free breakfast pack of rashers/sausages.
Ran into an ex in the Tesco car park on Sunday night, he was walking his very beautiful golden retreiver. I chatted to the dog mostlyI don't even know why that relationship ended, we used to get on really well, I was his dog-sitter for his old dog (who has since died of old age) every time he was away. No idea who minds the new dog. I don't meet them very often although they live nearby.
Went to a meeting last night about LETS skill swapping. It's a great idea and probably has a thread on here somewhere but the meeting was such a waste of time. My friend is a community worker who's involved in all these things which is how I knew about it. I'm definitely not going to the next meeting but might keep an eye on the website.
I fed skinny puss just now, I don't feed him every day (not being cruel to him, I just don't see him every day). His fur looked glossy in the sun. He's still skinny but he's ok, better than when I first encountered him.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
Anyone else using coupons in the supermarket? Bit addicted to that at the moment. I've used the one for the bin bags/dishcloths a few times and have been using a carefree one from pigsback to get panty liners for 9 cent a pack  They are on offer at half price and the coupon gives another 70 cent off.
I'd be mortified to stroll up to the checkout with loads of coupons so I just add one or two coupon items every time I buy a paper or bottle of milk. Try it peopleTotal debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -

Yes I use coupons when i can remember. i like the sainsburys ones because they are usually for things I would buy. I couldn't go up with loads at a time but i suspect there are plenty who do.It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
I'm EXHAUSTED again, not for any specific reason. I'm assuming it's a side effect of the anti-depressants I take for anxiety. I never go to the doctor about these sort of issues because the only help they can offer is to increase doses of medication. I don't want to do that, it's bad enough that I take it at all. These episodes always pass in a while anyway so could be worse.
Was so busy all day but it's just sofa/tv/internet/bed for the rest of the evening. I wanted to do a powerplate class but I'm not up to it so I've booked it for tomorrow instead.
Thinking I have issues with sugar cravings too. Today I had an absolutely lovely lunch brought in by one of the ladies at work. Homemade brown bread and soup made with vegetables from her gardenBUT I wasn't quite satisfied until I had something sugary after. I shouldn't have needed anything extra.
To make this worse I've fallen in love with a new sweet shop that's opened here (very close to the post office which I frequent). Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe. According to the website it's a franchise but I've never come across it before http://www.mrsimmsfranchise.co.uk/
My new navy Converse trainers arrived from Amazon this morning, totally free with vouchers I earned from Toluna :T(which I haven't had time for in ages but I will get back to it). Sorry @shoegal but I'm not very comfortable walking in heels so I wear Converse a lot.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
I've been feeling very tired recently. I have put it down to the weather. The heat is very exhausting and the constant changing from blazing hot sun to storms can't help.
I'm with you on the sugar cravings too. We have finally munched through the last of the cupcakes I bought for my birthday - I have a thing about buttercream and a friend of mine has just started a cupcake business - they are absolutely divine, so beautiful to look at.
I'm feeling the effects though so today I will be going out for a run to try to burn some of them off! It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

Glad I'm not the only one!!! My current ones now seem to have a hole in them so have to replace them. Theyre just the classis black/white ones...love them!

I wear the converse with skinny jeans all the time. It's no wonder I have trouble walking on heels, I don't practice enough. It's havanian flip flops at the moment though.
Used a very brilliant coupon today (from Prudence magazine @Kerry) €10 off when you spend €20 at Petstop. I got a bag of Royal Canin cat food for my mothers cat RRP €21 so I paid €11. She always buys the expensive Royal Canin food anyway so good value. There wasn't really anything I could afford for skinny puss :rotfl:Petstop is expensive, Maxi Zoo seems to have a much bigger range of affordable food.
I did my powerplate class this evening but I'm not sure I'll buy more :undecided It made me feel sick, like motion sickness from the vibration of the plate. This has happened before but I thought I'd get used to it but I haven't. I'm fine standing on it but anything that involves lying on it makes me feel _pale_. I didn't enjoy it and don't think I got much benefit from it because I gave up before the required 45 seconds on a lot of the exercises. The curves people have a vibro plate which wouldn't be as intense as powerplate and that might be better for me.
I did see another girl failing too. I think powerplate might be better suited to really fit, sporty people. Maybe with the medication I take and the way I was feeling so exhausted yesterday it's not hugely suited to me.
After powerplate my friend had me back at her community centre (@Kerry it's not unlike the community centre in Fair City except most of the people involved are younger). She had some ex drug addicts in talking about their experiences and it was so impressive. Plus there was loads of food
I don't really have anything in common with the people who are involved there, they do things like art, ceramics, pottery, etc but they are all so nice. My friend works really long hours and people can become very dependant on her. I wouldn't be able for that. I will go back when something else is on but not too regularly.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
Another not so great day. Weighed myself in Boots and got 10st 5lbs. No progress. I'm 5'6 and I bought a size 10 dress in Warehouse sale today so I shouldn't really be worrying about weight issues at all. I have no desire to be a size 8 but I really want to be under 10 st.
The dress was reduced to €20:T original price €78and I paid with vouchers from Shop and Scan. It's dusky pink with a high neckline and long sleeves, knee length. Suitable for summer or winter as would be nice with black tights and a black blazer.
When I got back from lunch the foodie lady offered me some of her lime cordial which I happily accepted but I felt sick after it and needed motilium for the horrible nausea. It was my stomach that's the problem not her cooking, she must have used loads of lime juice to make it and the acid in it made me sick. Obviously I didn't mention this to her.
I've been crazy busy all week. Meeting toxic friend for coffee at 10, then I have 2 mystery shops at a toyshop to do (same shop, different branches).
The plan for next week is to do less. When I'm not working I need to stay home and catch up on housework, decluttering, grooming, etc. I've been so busy I'm behind on everything.
