Curves smart is a wee chip thing u get that you pop into the machine and it monitors your impact and calories burnt.
It's hard to say as I only get 160cals from the Shred and that (for me) is a much more priductive workout that what I got from curves

I've added the Chinese and my total for today is 2032 or 802 calories more than I was supposed to have  A lot of the things I'm eating like from the cafe near work aren't in it so I've been choosing the Starbucks equivalent but it is possibly less because Starbucks is very calorific.

Isn't 2000 calories a day the recommended amount for females? I'm going to starve on my recommended 1230 :rotfl:

Spent an enjoyable morning in the city centre. Had coffee while reading the papers. Looked at clothes, tried on some Dune shoes and Warehouse dresses. Have made a bit of a list but I'm waiting for further reductions, ideally 70-75% but maybe 50%. 30% off isn't MSE enough for me.

Used 2 boots No7 vouchers to get free :Tovernight manicure gloves and an eyeshadow brush.

I admit to abusing the €5 cleaning products voucher :o I made a few copies and used it in different supermarkets. Got a selection of kitchen cloths, bin bags and colour catcher sheets. Wonder if obtaining €10 worth of free kitchen stuff counts as "make €10 a day challenge" :D

Met a beautiful Irish Wolfhound, he was the size of a pony  He's a showdog and has been to Crufts. He was helping collect money for doggies who are less fortunate than himself. It was working really well too because so many people like me were donating just so we could have a play with him :rotfl:

Thanks :) 1230 does seem really low, I'm not even trying to loose that much weight :undecided Something like a cappucino and a scone is supposedly providing half of my calorie requirements for the day  According to the myfitnesspal app anyway.

Aww Mags sorry myfitnesspal isnt for you :(. Different things work for different people. For me, it helps me stay accountable and I make sure I track everything I eat/drink on there. I think I get 2000cals if I want to maintain my weight but because I'm still trying to lose there has to be a defecit. I'm not too far from my goal now but it has slowed right down, thats to be expected though.

Anyway enough diet chat, love the dog story :). I wish I was as savvy with vouchers, love free stuff!

:rotfl: They do look very tempting. Wonder if they're nice. I'm going to Taste of Cork/Tastefest on Thursday. Eating is like a hobby for me which is a bit awkward when I want to look like Pippa Middleton :o

To counterbalance the eating I've been to Curves twice already this week :)

Wish I was doing something lovely for the summer solstice, longest day of the year today :(

Was so impressed with the lovely Curves owner again tonight. There was a very large girl there, like seriously obese and the owner girl made a point of staying pretty close to her and was chatting/gossiping lots with her. She chats to everyone anyway but she was definitely befriending this girl a little more just in case she was feeling intimidated by the gym environment. Pity all gyms can't be so nice.
