I did reach £40 on onepoll :j:j, applied for paypal payment so hopefully won't have to wait too long.

Skinny cat was back yesterday and I fed him again. He looks as skinny as ever and had some scars which looked like the result of a catfight. He's not a pretty puss but thankfully he wasn't starving this time so somebody else must be feeding him.

Almost nothing to live on again this week, not because I've been overspending but because almost all of the money in my account has to stay there to cover direct debits for bills.

With the latest unemployment figures of 440,947 or 14.8% it's not a great time to be looking for more money :(

Me too. The previews are making it look really good. And at least Dave Lamb is still doing the voice overs, it wouldn't be the same without him!

Getting tired of the Irish Come Dine With Me already :( Those people are SO IRRITATING. I didn't mind the man from the first night, I was rather impressd by his cooking skills and wondered if he might have been a chef or restaurant worker at some point. Loved his big dog too but Helena has scored higher than him so he can't win. Louisa the vegetarian seems evil and wierd. What do you think @Kerry78

I've found another fab freebie but this one's € only so just for @Kerry, @Wordsmith and me. Nothing glamorous, it's a €5 voucher for Killeen cleaning products but printing a few vouchers should get us quite a few freebies, bin bags don't cost €5 :) Rather excited about using this at Tesc* tomorrow.

I agree that they're very irratating but I'm glued to it!! I LOVED the first guy, he just seemed so normal and down to earth. And I loved the dog.

Helena just seems bonkers. Wonder what her kids thought about the passing out in the cat litter story!!!!

HOW can Louisa be Italian with that accent????? Maybe if she came over as a baby but apparently she only moved to Cork 3 years ago?????????? Not sure if I'd describe her as Evil but definately weird (red wine with ice???).

And the Kerry guy with the obsession with check shirts!

Thanks for that voucher! We're going through lots of bin bags at the moment so that's very good timing!

:rotfl: at Louisa, she's supposed to be Italian but she was clueless about pesto and basil. I liked the bruschetta she made and I liked her red dress with the black poppy print. Glad she scored lower than the others, I really don't like her.

I like the clothes that Vicky girl wears too.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I never thought I'd say it but I'm sick of CDWM, its just repeated all the time and focuses more on the !!!!!y diners than anything else.
Well done on the onepoll :)

Skinny cat did something to offend me really badly this morning  I opened the front door to leave for work and there he was meowing at me for food so I went back in, got his 2 bowls, one with milk, the other with Go-cat and served them to him. He took one look before jumping up on the window 2 doors down and looking in through the glass demanding food there instead :rotfl:

This is an animal that was suffering from starvation when he arrived here a few weeks ago, now he's being fussy.

Would love to know what the woman in that house is feeding him that's so much better  I know go-cat isn't great, my mothers cat would turn his nose up at it because she buys him Royal Canin but that's sort of acceptable for a pampered cat with an owner. Skinny cat is homeless and should be thankful to be getting fed at all :D

I had my first weigh-in and measure at Curves since joining and according to the girl there I've lost 4lbs :T not bad considering how little effort I've been making and I certainly haven't been starving myself.

I have to say I was really impressed with the printout she gave me, I never had anything like that in a "proper" gym when I was a member a few years ago.

Apparently I've lost 3.25 inches (1 from thighs, 0.75 from hips, 0.5 each from arms, abdomen and bust)

My body fat has gone from 28.5 to 27.2

Weight 149 lbs down to 145 lbs (10 st 9 lbs to 10 st 5) :undecided except I'm almost certain that when I joined she said I was 10st 6  and the Boots scales the day before that had said 10st 7 lbs. So there's a good bit of variation there. Plus as I keep telling other people I'm convinced hormonal changes and time of the month can influence the figures too so to summarise I'm not fully convinced by the figures.

The chart also gives my total attendance as 12 times in the month or 3 times a week.

The chart does seem to have helped my motivation and I'm going to try and have a higher number for attendance next time. (Higher attendance = much better value for my money)

And guesse what arrived in the post this morning.........the Shred DVD :rotfl:(free with Amazon vouchers from surveys:money:)
