Mags I'm going to give that a try, regular grooming (sound like a show dog) rather than waiting til I have an event, which are few and far between, then letting go again0

Anytime I've been in a relationship I've been kind of obsessive about waxing/hair removal but not so much now as a single person. If the weather was warm enough for shorts/skirts I'd be better at keeping it up. Then there's the toenail painting as well.....It takes me around 3/4 of an hour to dry and ghd the hair and by then I'm usually done with grooming for the day.
Really annoyed with myself that I've only been to curves twice this week. Monday night I was watching Barack Obama in Ireland on tv and Thursday night I was out at the concert and it's not open weekends so I can't catch up now. I'll try and do extra next week, going to book one of their (free) personal training sessions -mainly to get better value for my money.
Onepoll is at £37.95, should make it to £40 next week :T
Going to have a catch-up with the diaries, then do some housework before going to my mothers for the rest of the weekend.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
I looked in Primrk again this morning, because I went to the shopping centre for the papers and to have a coffee. The shoes I couldn't walk on are almost sold out. Wish I could take them back, I hate wasting money on things like that.
I saw another pair I really like, these ones are wedges but I doubt they'd be comfortable. Another thing I looked at there was St Moritz (I think) fake tan, it's something like €4 and a girl at work was wearing it and it looked good on her, but I'm not a fake tan fan and it's yet another grooming step that I just couldn't be bothered with.
Thinking I need "no car days" in June. I'm spending too much on petrol.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
Hi Mags,
really great to hear about your time with the Queen & O'Bamaboth fabulous ambassadors for both their country & humanity.
As far as grooming goes - definitely invest in an epilator - the first time is a bit eye-watering but the joy of only having to do the deed once every 1 - 2 weeks is well worth it.
Pole dancing sounds great ... not sure if I'd ever have a go though
xx0 -
The thought of the epilator scares me more than the pole dancing!
Must admit that whether in a relationship or not, I always like to have hair free legs (and arms:o) so maybe I should think about it...0 -

I have an epilator and think it's very good. It is sore the first few times (and it's unbearable around bikini area) but it's actually not that bad. And after 2 G&Ts it's completly painless!
I WAS obsessive about hair removal at the start of the relationship. 4 years later, poor OH is all i can say!0 -

I have an epilatorIt's one of many items of expensive clutter that I just don't use. I think the problem is that it's really slow, takes ages to do legs with it. Maybe I should try again, everybody round here seems to recommend them.
The "getting value for my money at Curves" plan may not work for the week because I appear to have developed a chest infection, not feeling well at all.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
