alliwant - the new food regime is making no differnce to my skin at all, which continues to deteriorate as my meds fail AGAIN. I'm now on a low dose chemo drug to try and lower my immune system so I stop making antibodies against the meds that are supposed to help:eek:. BUT, I defintely have more energy over the last 6 months since I made the initial changes. But that could be due to coming off other drugs that I think left me xtra tired. But even if no change with skin, it could take 6-12months to show, & I am very committed to doing this for the next year. I have everything to gain and nothing to lose. Thanks for asking
Victory - your experience is so painful Victory:( I can only echo what others have said. It seems to be nightmare piled on to nightmare.
Betty - assessing your food choices sounds ultimately veyr powerful stuff. Well done you. I am sure t will pay long term dividends for you.
Good to see you missy:)
another sts for me please fredI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Victory, I sympathize with you as my brother is exactly the same and that is America. I hope you get things sorted out, but the depression won't help with your weight problems. When people get depressed they eat more.
Wish me luck, mock exams tomorrow night, then the real thing on St Patrick's day.Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money but you can't get more time0 -

Grrr tempting pancakes.
Didn't help that I got to the gym and had forgotten my shorts. Still it's a new week and two weeks stable suggests a drop is just around the corner.
Lol, I gave in to the temptation of pancakes as well. They didn't work out too bad carbwise.... until I added the strawberry syrup that is! :doh:somethingsgottogive wrote: »I just did 20 in a row without dying - the most I've done before that is 11! YayI tried on my size 16 jeans the other day and I got them on, they were too tight to wear anywhere but at home but at least they did up :j
I was a size 22 when I started dieting back last October so the faint glimmer of wearing a size 16 within a month or so has really helped my motivation.
That's amazing!!! You have done so well over the last few months! :T
Well, I'm logging in 60 flights today. That makes 403 flights, or 3358 ft.0 -

I am reporting another STS I'm happy with this as I am not gaining, just wish I could shift another 4 lb's to reach my 8 Stone target
I have also done 27 sets of home steps and 14 sets of work steps today Thanks Fred :A
After my run/walk yesterday today my hips and bottom have been killing me. It has been so painful to sit down but I have to for work. Someone tell me it is all going to be worth it ??? In fact walking up and down the stairs at work today helped to ease some of the stiffness. I don't know how I am going to manage run 2 tomorrow  But providing hell doesn't freeze over I will do my best to go tomorrow ( I have lost the plot I think!)sary~well done to Master sary :j (off to google club 10 now)

Just !!!!!! off will you mazza!!
Hope you're having a good time!!
you do make me laugh Vix
Mazza, I hope you're having a nice time out there too... my gas has been off again for two days this week, so while youre sitting in the sun, maybe you will have a laugh thinking about me with no central heating watching tv wrapped in a duvet! ;-)
I'm declaring a STS again this week. My weight has been all over the place this week ...up a few pounds down a few pounds, to be honest i didnt actually get weighed today, but i'm pretty sure it will be something like what i started the week out on.
Yesterday i did a 12 mile walk with sweetcheeks13 (and then pigged out). Today i went to the gym (and then pigged out again). I havent done any virtual mountaineering for a few days (will get back into that tomorrow fingers crossed). It feels like I'm swimming against the current and i know exactly why...I'm my own worst enemy.
Anyway tomorrow morning I've got a meeting with the dietician and in the afternoon the people that run the supervised gym sessions are starting weekly weight management classes, so i'm going along to that too. I guess it will be a bit like the weight watchers meetings but without all the commercialisation.
Well done to all this weeks losers, and to the mountaineers too :-)0 -
