So I tend to stick to the exercise thread (Matryoshka come back, I miss you there!)
It is the same ol' Missy :j:j Howdy? I stopped on the exercise thread as I was only posting about going to the gym whereas you lot were posting about running marathons and hiking through mud etc  Made my crosstrainer look tame :rotfl:I stopped working out for about 3 months and put on a stone  I'm back at the gym now trying to lose 12 Ibs the last time I weighed myself
I'll pop in there :TSECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:

victory so sorry to hear you are going through such difficulty. I hope you manage to get the pictures and things you want from your mother's flat - even if you need your sister to bring them to you since your mother's partner won't let you in. You were their child after all is said and done and you deserve those memories and time to grieve just as much as your brothers and sister and mother's partner.
Stay strong and you will get through it, in your own way and in your own time.
thanks for the ideas about backwards food planning. I do tend to try to keep most of my cal allowance for dinner it is my biggest meal usually. But I like the idea of cal counting dinner then brekkie then lunch. might just workalliwantistosave wrote: »Well I have just got back from my first c25K run/walkonly injury is a blister on the back of my right heel. well done :jI'm almost halfway through my challenge to run 1,000 miles in 12 months, and last week I ran my furthest ever in a week, 60km. This week I'm going for 65km! I've come a long way since my jogs around "wii island"& speaking of challenges, good luck all you Everest climbers!
:T well done missy!
I cycled 12 miles today with OH and had a small portion of chips. Nice day off in the sun. didnt think about 'dieting' too much as I am trying to focus on exercise more than anything. No steps today, but my legs hurt from pedalling!!Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

Hi Everyone, countrymusicfan wrote: »I am on insulin as well, and use chocolate when I am low on sugar, but the diabetic nurse says I am being a very bad diabetic because there is a lot of fat in chocolate and that is bad for someone on a diet. It is much slower then sugar tablets and the sugar tablets are measureable. Anyway.
Loved the desert recipe. Can't wait to try it.
Ahh, yes they have told me off on occasion for giving DS chocolate when he is low.
Well I've been very busy for the past few days, doing everything but stair climbing! I've managed 65 stairs.... in 3 days!!!:(
My total so far for the Everest challenge is 343 sets, which makes 2858 ft. Will aim for at least 3000 ft tomorrow. I think that's only 17 flights, so should be achieveable - although, with my track record... Who knows! :rotfl:
I'm hoping that I can find some motivation tomorrow at weigh in - I'll either be spurred on by another good loss, or determined to try harder as I've sts/gained. I've not weighed myself at all since last wed so it's going to be a complete suprise tomorrow. Usually I like to weigh myself every couple of days so I can get a better picture of where my weight is going, but I've not done it this week. I don't think i've done too badly, but I know that I could have done better, so I don't know which way it'll go tomorrow.
Congratulations to all the losers this week, and to all the climbers, you're doing really well.0 -
Hi Missy - great to see you pop back if only for a flying visit
C25K is the couch to 5 km challenge which is a running for beginners programme. I was looking to run the race for life in July but thought I'd start slowly. Glad you are still keeping well and your challenges still make me feel like hiding under sofa
Betty - Your bike ride sounds lovelyI hope your OH enjoyed it too?
Blimey my bottom is hurting tonight  But just forced some stairs as my count was a little low today.
Fred - 28 sets of home stairs and 13 sets of work stairs today :A
Good luck to everyone for weigh in tomorrow xRestarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed
Need to loose 25lb / 3lb lost so far0 -

It's not the Uk one but the American Biggest Loser. I prefer it to the Uk one as the changes are much more dramatic.Yearly Grocery Budget - £100.77/ £3500. January Treats Budget - £11.80 / £100.0
