STS for me please Fred. Can't really get into anything atm, which is probably why I haven't been around much. Rather pssssssd off with everything in my life atm. So need to make drastic changes. Just don't have the heart to make those changes atm. Probably won't be around much for the next few weeks until i get my head sorted. So although I won't be posting much, I'll still be around reading4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

well done efrieze, princess, beanie and any other 1lb singletons losing this week :0)
(im sure there must be a joke in there somewhere
..."I used to weigh two tons but now im just a singleton?")
and ive not forgotten about the people who lost more than one... You obviously deserve congratulations even more so

Well as expected, 2lb gain.... sorry England I let you down.. but I was expecting it. means i have to try harder in Feb to meet the 5lb challenge and get myself back on track. Had a good sleep last night so feeling a bit better today, but there's no milk in the house for my big cups of tea so i am going to have to tryt o get through the day on herbal tea and black coffee (I know i could go outside and buy some, but it's freeeezing out there still!!!)
Victory - perhaps it is the case that, as sary suggested, years of food restrictions has affected the way your body copes to different diets.
The diabetes might also be a factor.
Did you try original (Red) days? They would be best for you, much less carbs so more what you are used to.
did you get a phone number for your consultant when you joined group? you could try giving her a call and seeing if she'll take a look at your food diary.
There's got to be something in there that we are all missing - are you definately having 5-15 syns a day? you need to have about 70 across a week on average.
Mazza hope ur ok and hey a STS better than a gain!!
Well done beanie, efrieze and sary :j
Thanks for the poem princess - helps me picture all those one pounds of fat stuck to me and want to get rid of them all one by one!!!Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

It's a 1lb loss for me this week, Fred.
Well, it's 1lb since monday, which is probably not very accurate, but I want to start from fresh each month as I am setting myself monthly goals rather than weekly ones. This works better for me as I don't lose motivation if I have a bad week, because I can just make up for it the next week.0 -
Noooo! I spent ages typing out a message, only for the computer to crash!
Bascially, a great big THANK YOU for all of your messages - I'm really glad i went to the group and will be telling you all about a more positive session next week!
Pop Culture - HelloThat Fat Smash diet sounds gruelling - I really couldn't do it, are you not feeling a bit tired all the time? What are the next stages and how are you doing today?
Princess - Thanks for that poem, my WW leader read that out a few years ago, but I'd forgotten all about it - i'll be sending that to my MIL who frequently loses 'only a pound'
I weighed myself again this morning, as suggested by Puds..... and the scales didn't go to 'Err'! I'm 335lb, and I don't mind admitting it because I'm NEVER seeing that number again! So, now that I can keep track, I'd like to join in with your challengesI see that the England team is rather full compared to the others, so if any of you Welsh, Scottish or Irish want me I'm happy to be on your team - I did live in North Wales for a few years and love it there... and I'm umm... about 1/72 Scottish... :rotfl:

I've put on 1lb this week.
I'm hoping it is due to the steroids I've been put on for 5 days. I am determined not to have them for longer than that.
Gutted about it, but remind myself that I have lost 5lb since the beginning of the year. Not Rachmaninov

Helloo,
Well, that was rubbish. Not only did i not have a milisecond of time yesterday to do any exercise, but our house viewing was bloody awful! It's for a rented house and the place looked like it needed gutting! Am hoping to maybe do half an hour tonight (but it will be late, as I'm visiting my parents while OH is doing the late shift till gone nine) but I'll have the entire evening to myself tomorrow so i'll be making up for my shoddy exercise week so far.
The cross trainer is up and i did half an hour the other day while watching Tomb Raider (sad i know, but Angie Jolie is an great thinspiration for me, as we are the same height and basic build in this film, only I wish i could be that toned! But only in these movies, she's way too skinny and weak looking now) Anyway, it kept me going all that time so something must've worked!
Food Diary for yesterday:
Breakfast - smoked salmon, 1 scrambled egg mixed with 1 slice smoked cheese, 1 slice wholegrain toast with pure olive spread, fat free probiotic yog, coffee
Lunch - Watercress, spinach and rocket with mixed beans in mint vinegarette. 2 clementines. Mint tea.
Dinner - grilled chicken steak in sauce with noodles from Noodletime. Apple tea - dinner out again, nooooooooo
Snacks - raw almonds, soya milk, 2 seeded oatcakes (all during afternoon)
Shouldn't have really eaten out yesterday, it was just consolation for the crappy viewing. We'd stupidly (and secretly) both set our hearts on this property, solely based on the pictures and location. Ah well, you win some...
Ooh, Fred could I please be put down for ENGLAND? I forgot to mention before.Make £2019 in 2019 No 153 - £4517.17/£20190 -
The challenge teams so far are as below:
It's not too late to join - send me a pm with your starting weight and which team you want to join.
:j:j
fortunately for you though the winners are decided by percentage loss, and just think how many stone the english team will have to lose just to make it to 1% !
Can i suggest maybe that next months team challenge could be WeightWatchers vs Slimming world vs Calorie counters et al??????0 -
