any advice/comments welcome as usual :)

Brekkie: 2 satsumas, a mini muller rice, a cuppa with semi skim

Snack: Options hot choc with a splash of semi skim
Dinner: Pea and courgette risotto with chicken stock, 2 tbsp Elmlea fake single cream and a sprinkling of parmesan

This is the plan anyway, will update if i have anything else/different.

you are right it's def the evening that is my downfall - during the day i can stay on track but dinners are tricky due to a few things:
    1. OH is a skinny little thing and needs feeding up!
    2. He also works really hard all day and deserves a nice dinner
    3. I love cooking - so I tend to go a bit overboard!
    4. Dessert/after-dinner snacking is a big problem!

However, hopefully this can be overcome by having sensible but yummy dinners (HM not bought, SW or low fat style not calorie laden) and by giving OH the biggest portion at all times!
after dinner I just have to rely on willpower! and an early night!!!

good idea about cutting down lunch - was just thinking the same. Might try to stick to small portions of veg and carbs, or porridge or cereal.

It's in a bit of an experimental phase at the mo so any ideas are welcome! :)

Yea, i think point 4 is another problem perhaps. I don't like cake or dessert type things so i rarely have anything after i finish my dinner (although all people keep giving me is chocolate, grr!) So i'd try and phase that out, or at least just keep it to a friday/saturday night thing?

The night before last, i had a lunch portion of pasta so i could have more dough balls. I think its finding that balance. Before, i wanted everything on my plate and now i try and think small portions, and having less of something if i want more of something else. Its always harder in a relationship, because you end up eating the same amount as they do (or i did) and its hard to give it up. You'll get there theough Betty!!

Have did a Zumba class this morning. Put on my heart moniter and watch to see how many calories had burned and forgot to turn it on. Not done any of my steps today yet. Going to have a cuppa and then start.

  • Hello everyone :)

I've been finding the last two days tough, both diet and exercise :(

I stupidly went to bed after midnight on Monday and Tuesday, and then last night even though we were in bed by 10pm - I spent the whole night tossing and turning and dreaming about head lice. I had to delice my 5 year old last night, and while I'm not squeamish and squished the little b*****s by hand, I was dreaming about gigantic mutant lice... anyway... very tired today!

My total so far, btw, is 1048ft :)

ok the plan changes a bit - realised the last of my bread was mouldy :( so no beans on toast - had spinach and rocotta tortelloni instead.
    Also had one biscuit.

Put my food diary and dinner plans into foodfocus and got a total of 1100 cals

Is food focus a free thing? I really don't know how many calories I should be eating :/

I wish the fiery hell pit that is my rage and frustration could burn off calories - after having to scrub LO's shoes in the front garden again because some f****** inbred b***** chav muppet can't do a simple thing like pick up their dog's C R A P - I could have burned off a days calories, and counting :mad::mad: I *really* can't wait to move.

*breathe* sorry, slightly off topic there for a minute :D

Aww, what a shame. How long are the side effects expected to last?

Thanks Lolly, only a couple more days I think. I'm starting to feel better already, and getting closer to walking in a straight line again lol
