I am same as you evenings are my problem. I eat rubbish when hubby goes to bed. I am having a tough time at moment as was pregnant with twins, lost one baby before christmas at 9 weeks and then lost other baby at 16 weeks just over a month ago. Hence I am having problems sleeping so sitting up till early hours eating chocs and watching tv(hubby has early rise so in bed at 9pm normally during week). Dr had prescribed tablets to assist with sleeping but havnt taken them. I am hoping to increase excercise and tire myself out and stop eating all the rubbish to try and improve sleeping patterns rather than having to take pills.

On a happier note well done to everyone who has lost weight this week.:j

Oh, that's such sad news, what a thing to go through.
No wonder you are having trouble sleeping, and comfort eating into the early hours.

It might be worth trying the sleeping tablets to get a few good night's kip and then make sure you have enough energy for exercising. Exercise will certainly help you though and will hopefully help improve your mood and wellbeing.

Evenings are hard, we are tired and eat for energy, or boredom, or no reason at all! Perhaps the evening would be a good time for some exercise in your routine? A workout DVD perhaps??

Awww, I'm so sorry to hear about your losses. I lost my nephew last year at 33 weeks, it's such a difficult thing to go through.

I think that Betty has offered some really good advice, the only other thing I could say is to let you know that we are here for you. I understand that you don't really 'know' us, although sometimes that helps, so if you do feel lost in an evening then there's always someone around on here if you need a chat - or just need tempting away from the choccies! :D

I'm finally starting to think about addressing the holiday weighht from last sept...baby steps and all that so on the slow everest (this lot would have been up down and on the cocoa by the time I get there :-) - all helps tho and it did inspire me to get out the old wii fit and realise how much fitter I used to be!)

    hey,

can i take part in the challenge using my wii fit board as I have no steps at home or at work?! It's 2.11 inches high so I figure over 20 days I need to do 5000 steps a day?! Hope my maths is right!

Thanks for all your well wishes.

Just back from gym and have did my 500ft for today on the step machine for today. Have booked in for Zumba tomorrow morning and legs bums and tums on friday. Going to wear my heart monitor to different classes to try and work out many calories burning.

Good luck with lifting the plane.
