Congratualtions on the great starts everyone! I've done 37 'climbs' so far (not declaring, I've not finished yet!) - this was made up of a couple of 5 mins sets, the rest was the odd one here and there through the day.

I usually fast forward through adverts on TV, but I've decided that tonight I'll keep them on and spend the time jogging up and down the stairs! I do this a lot with Just Dance 2 on the wii - keep the wii on and just keep doing a song or two in the adverts. It works well for me as it's just enough to get my heart rate up, but not too long that it feels like a 'proper workout', so I can do a lot more over the evening then if I had attempted it all in one go.

OMG, I think my lungs are about to explode! I've just done 34 climbs in around 15 mins. Only did it as DS was competing with me... we now have an unofficial member of the challenge. He was quite excited about the idea when I mentioned it this morning and did 6 climbs with me but I thought he would have forgotten about it by now... he has just done a further 57 climbs, and barely stopped for breath!
I better try to calm him down and get him a snack before he sends himself hypo!

Well I was bad today and didn't do any of the 30 day shred, (yes I know theres still time but OH is home and I refuse to do it whilst he's here!) but it might be a good thing maybe giving a break for a day - terrible after only two days, but I really hurt my hand yesterday (already have a slightly dodgy arm anyway) so probably should give it a rest :p
My arm is somewhat self diagnosed but everything seems to point to cabitual tunnel syndromme and sometimes my arm just totally goes on me :(

Will attempt to get back on form tomorrow although the prospect of pressure on it is beginning to worry me, weights and press-ups etc....

its important to rest injury's and train around them

tbh if you have had it more than a couple of weeks it needs checking out with the quack, you do not want to permanently damage yourself

Feeling a little bit out of things with this everest challange.

Perhaps Beanie, we should do a challenge for our arms? ha!! Seeing as my bottom half is out of action and yours probably is too :)

Well done on your 1lb loss!!

Alli - i dont know what happened to Rob, he seemed to be doing so well in the house but in the weeks between him being voted off and coming back for the final, he didnt seem to lose much. He really didnt deserve to be voted off that week though, definite tactical voting, maybe he was sulking, thats how i would have felt i think.

Very true Pud's I was expecting to see him come back after saying stuff you and at least shifting 6 stone, But only 3 stone? I thought he had lost that in the house before he left ?

Just watched BL final on ITVplayer - Wil and Paddy both looked great and had made loads of effort. I enjoyed seeing how well they did and felt a bit inspired not to give up on myself, things could be worse, etc.

Was laughing at how all the girls had their hair cut short - every little weight loss counts! ;) hehe

Today I have done 1500 feet! good start :D

Maybe I should Cut mine off to make me loose more weight?? :D
1500 steps :eek: Blimey Betty that is a start and a half :j

Beanie - Please don't feel left out :(

Fred - Not sure how you are going to manage all this extra work you have with this challenge but today I have done 32 trips up my home stairs and 10 trips on the stairs at work (think I may of done a couple more but had a few stressed moments @ work so can't remember if I ticked them off or not  so don't want to cheat)

Well done on day one everyone, I think I am going to be a tortoise and try for a set amount everyday
