  • What a fantastic idea - Virtual Challenges. I can't take part in the Everest one, but I'm really looking forward to see which other ones I can take part in.

    Fantastic motivation as well.

I'll be thinking of all the challengers xx

Wow, that's great. Sounds like you'll be first to the top!

I've been thinking about doing the free-step programme on Wii fit (just steppng on and off while watching TV). I usually do around 3600 steps in half an hour, although the 'step' is probably only 2-3" tall so not sure if it's worth doing.

Well I think I may have poisoned myself!!!:eek::eek: I had some chilli and lime topped fish in the fridge that should have been eaten yesterday, I decided to eat it for lunch as it looked and smelt OK, but now I have terrible stomach cramps and keep going hot and cold (like you do when you have flu). Oh dear.

Oh well, food poisoning usually gives a good weight loss... :rotfl:

Thanks Izames. I'm hoping that it'll be a mild case as fish usually starts to smell before it really goes off, and it seemed OK at the time.

I measured my steps this morning with a tape measure from the first step to the top and it was 12ft. Does that sound right, theres 14 steps and im rubbish at measuring things!!
I think that will probably be me at the back of that pic to be honest, screaming for you all to help me lol.

Been a bit naughty today and have had a flapjack. whoops.

My work steps are 7.5 inches high and there's 20 steps in a flight, so that makes 12.67 feet per flight of stairs.

Eric I've added you in - if that's not ok please let me know - just let me know how far you've done on your treadmill on a hill (preferably without gluing it to the wall ;) as we don't want to be adding to the existing Everest casualties) and I'll add it to the chart.

Measure how tall one step is and then multiply it by 14 and that's how high your flight of stairs are.
