  • sts for me please fred

well you got your wish beanie, a sts:D

    Mazza - really good news:T

Romylou - sorry your are going through such a difficult time

    Victory - thinking of you

I tried hypnotherapy for sleep issues 2 yrs ago. HAd 4 sessions I think. Didn't make any difference at all for me.

Well I had a meeting with senior manager today and HR rep. We had a bit of a natter about what they want me to do, and what I am currently able to do. All it took was a little bit of explanation and compromise on both sides and I think the whole thing has been resolved for now.

Once we had the meeting, I immediately felt much more relaxed and calm, like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders (hope about 3 lbs:rotfl:) but hopefully I will have a better sleep now.

    Will keep you all posted.

Diet wise, I've been bad again at the start of this week (total chocolate binge) which I'm completely blaming on all this stress. Hopefully thats all sorted now, so I can now put my diet head back on. I hope I can salvage a small loss this week, will take what I can get. Fingers crossed.........

Well done this week everyone, can't wait to see the chart Fred.

Eric - that is an amazing result and 20 stone on the button is ok. So when are you booking in for bodpod III ?

Well its now officially over 200lbs lost as I have put on a confirmed 4lbs of lean mass on my torso (i dont work my legs as there massive)

which takes me to over 200lbs of fat lost :T

goal weight @ 20% body fat is now 230lbs :D

visit III will be july/august when I have lost the last 50lbs, hopefully i can put on another 4-6lbs as well
  • Please can I join in?? I did join is some time ago but fell by the wayside. I have been doing SW for about 6 weeks ( with two weeks off for hols) and am 1/2 lb off my first half stone loss. Weight in tomorrow night.

I try to go to the gym 3 times a week, and zumba class twice a week. But I think publically ( albeit under a psuedonym) annoucing your losses, gains and indiscretions is not a bad thing.

    Thanks

    Hi everyone,

Just nipping in to post my loss, quite busy at the moment but hope to catch up on reading tomorrow. I lost 1lb this week, although I have to add on my gain from last week, so unfortunately that makes it a 2lb gain this week - sorry England!

    Here's this weeks chart:

    23Feb2011.jpg

Congratulations to our SoTW Eric and to our SoTM Puddings.

Well done to all our losers and STSers this week and commiserations to our gainers - tomorrow is a new day and you can make a difference :j:j

    23Feb2011Intercountryteams.jpg

This is the final week of our Country team challenge and this weeks winners are Wales.

The team that has won this months challenge is Wales :D with a % loss of 2.68%.

Well done to everyone who took part.

Next months team challenge will be the diet plans, currently the teams are looking like:

    WW - 0 members
    SW - 1 member
    Other plans - 2 members
    DIY - 7 members

I don't want to have more than 4 teams so the teams may change a bit depending on who signs up to which team.

If you want to take part in the team challenge please post which team you wish to be part of, and if you have not taken part in this months challenge you will need to let me know your start weight (via private message in confidence if you prefer) so that I can calculate each teams start weight and %.

If you took part in this months challenge I will calculate your starting weight from the weight at the beginning of this months challenge less your results for this month.

Next week is also the start of next months 5lb challenge - if you wish to take part in this please post below so I can add you on the chart.

This months quote is a Portugese proverb:

"Change yourself and fortune will change with you."

Good luck to everyone for the next week.:T:T
