eric just watched BL USA what is the game play the red team are doing where she lost 1lb one week and 11lb this week and is sending gillian the trainer mad? Don't get all the hatred towards them and Gillian keep on at her 'you calling me a liar' debate all the time?
Why is everyone getting on the case of the two that 'will not open up, express any emotions, keep it all inside?'
some historic stuff going on here, game players are generally hated by the other players and the viewers especially ones who are unsubtle and blatantly lie about it, as the red team did, Jillian was anoyed that they where treating her as an idiot, if your going to water load at least admit it
most people who become obese+ have inner demons, very few people eat themselves to that size for fun, dealing with the demons is the main thing they go to the camp for, if they dont they will just fail again in the real world, thats why they have a problem with the green team, and its emotionally unhealthy to behave like that0 -
Poor mans version of fox hunting then. At least you're eating it i suppose.
not really anything alike, in fox hunting there getting there jollys from chasing a fox about for hours terrorising it, ferreting is more like fishing where you spend a lot of time sitting around chilling doing nothing. The amount of stress for the rabbit is probably less than a minute far less than even animals in an abattoir even those that are stunned, its also the ultimate in organic systems0 -
fs gonna post this now as its a little bit complex with last weeks "STS"
3.4lb loss (:j and i ate like a pig this week, 3500 cals on wed ) for a total of 11.4 phase II and 192.2 grand total0 -
My son has been on and off my weighing scales and caused it to make an errr2 message, when I fix it I will get weighed if not tomrrow in town at the boots chemist one:D
eric i understand that she threw the way in just don't understand how she or others do that? Do they continue to eat? Not exercise? How do they manage to loose just 1lb when the others loose at least half a stone a week?:D0 -
good morning losers, - especially the newbie losers :-)
am i the only one that doesnt like it when we move to a new thread, with all the editing bookmarks and so on?
but here we are again anyway, back to page 1
Monsieurs et madames would you like to see the menu for today?
To start with we have beans on toast, some salads both chicken and also feta substitute, soup du jour which i believe is peppery brown slop soup and our piece de resistance... turkey dinner at the crown carvery using up the last of the January £2.99 vouchers.
To accompany this we have a tax return deadline, a bathroom that needs cleaning, three dogs to keep an eye on, a 4 mile walk and a business to run.
the best part of any menu

hey all. new thread love it. I had a long think last night while in bed and i am determined to lose this weight. Fred i will email you a starting weight again as i havent been good recently, so i am starting afresh.
I decided that every night i will do between 50 - 100 jumps on the skipping rope, at least 30 mins wii time 3 x a week and when i get my fitness dvd, i will try to do that 1 to 2 times a week. I will cut down dramactically on pop and choccie. And im still on the lookout for an exercise bike.
GOOD LUCK all newbies and regulars.PAD Maker0 -
Victory - i think she did the same amout of exercise as the others, and was therefore expecting to lose say half a stone, but because she had immunity, then filled up with about 6lbs of water, so that she'd have an easier week folllowing.
Personally i dont see a problem with doing that, its the denial thats gets me, there was no need to lie about it.
i think 6lbs of water is roughly 3 litres?? - so its not an unreasonable quantity0 -
Morning all
Thanks fred for the new thread
welcome newbies
Well, my hopes of seeing a loss this week have been somewhat dashed by my behaviour this weekend - Sat wasn't too bad, made a lovely lasagne but it was low fat SW style, but started the day with a fry up at the local greasy spoon - very high in fat and SW unfriendly!
Yesterday I was on plan till the lovely healthy soup i made accidentally boiled over causing the milk to split and ruin itso OH produced a loaf of white bread, a block of lurpack and a box of cakes from the local shop!! (blimmin lovely tho
)
BUT I cannot get complacent, I must keep going!
I have no reason not to stick my butt firmly to the wagon this week (and this month!)
Fred I will post my gain this week (sorry Englanders I will have let you down!) on wednesday morning as usual... and i'll try not to be too
and before you ask....no I didn't do davina today!! :rotfl:
Had a late night last night due to unexpected visitors, and I ended up sleeping in for an hour this morning! which means I have loads of work to do and very little time!
I will do it twice this week tho! I really want to try my new DVDs i'm just getting annoyed now that I can never find the time!
Anyway, happy monday and happy new thread everyone hope you all have a lovely start to the week! :beer:Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

well done on your loss.
To answer your question, I make my OH take them to work. He bought mini choc cakes this weekend so i had a few, but there were some left so I put them in his work bag so that he could have them and they wouldn't be hanging around the kitchen to tempt me.
I also only let him keep biscuits and sweets in the house that I dont like! that way I wont want to eat them too! but instead I buy myself treats like low fat yogs (Weightwatchers dessert-style yogs are nice) and Option hot choc, so I get a treat tooBetty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....
