mostly for breakfast but then in my decaf coffee through the day
its not that whole milk has any magic weight loss powers but more that fat is not the enemy in weight loss its sugar (and skimmed / semi has more than whole milk)
although research that calcium binds with fat and makes it hard to absorb so in dairy like full milk and cheese and about 1/3rd passes through you

this is something i dont get
when i started walking as a blob up an incline you could ring my top out and fill a pint glass with sweat..
when my missus jogs for 30 mins (half walk half jog) she comes of dripping in sweat
when i do my 5k i have to dig really deep and my HR is in the 170s at the end, yet I am only a little bit sweaty??? my face and a small triangle in the top of my back???0 -

I have enjoyed watching the videos you have linked to over the last few days Eric. Is there a specific diet plan you would recommend? I am not as organised with facts and figures and tables as you are so telling me for instance to eat 35% fat would leave me floundering! However a list of foods and meal plams to follow would be handy!
Thanks

Losing weight is not very MSE in that you need smaller clothes all the time!! I have 2 pairs of Lands End cotton jersey crops, size 16-18, inside leg 24", ideal for exercise or casual wear (crops are trousers on me because I'm not very tall!!) One pair, khaki, not even worn yet. The other, navy, almost unworn, but they're tooooo roomy around the behind!!
Also a lot of lovely quality nighties from David Nieper of Derbyshire. These are so well-made they never wear out, but size 16-18 is now too big!!!Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.

using a planner / recording all the info is the easiest way imo, a bit of a pain to start but you get fast at it quickly
food is very easy, imagine your walking around the county side 10,000 years ago and only eat the things you can get your hands on, fish, meat, fat, dairy, eggs, nuts, tonnes of veg and salad, a few tubers (but not many) some fruit but not huge amounts (its seasonal), natural oils that can be cold pressed like coconut oil which is the best but avoid chemically extracted oils, some salt but not much, and mabe a little wholegrain
you can also mix up the fat / protein % abit, the main thing is keeping carbs low GI and 25-30% max of your diet, and a min of 25% protein0 -
