Did my insanity workout, drank lots of water during my exercise, had a cup of tea before hitting the gym. I was 10 stones.
Maybe I should start taking my homescales as fact and ditch the gym weigh-in as I don't get there until 9a.m (after the school run) and need a cuppa before then :rotfl:
I go to WW in the evening and I am wearing similar clothes each week, and also it is before dinner. I try to drink the same amount every day but you can only go so far. I don't feel that a glass of water is going to make a difference long term, half a lb here or there is not much in the bigger picture, I am looking for a change in how I feel and look, rather than a particular number on a set of scales. That said, I will be happy when the numbers begin with an 8 rather than a 90 -

To get an accurate weight, weigh yourself first thing in the morning, naked, after going to the loo and before eating or drinking anything.
I've taken to weighing myself last thing at night for comparison. I'm usually 1 kg more at night than in the morning.
This causes me to think: what about all the slimming clubs, WW, SW and others, that have meetings in the evening and weigh people with clothes on. At that time of day and clothed, you are inevitably going to get an inaccurate weight.
This is why I weigh myself twice a week, once at home, first thing in the morning, as you do, and then at my evening class. I always weigh heavier at my evening class, obviously because I am clothed, but also because I've eaten and taken on fluids during the day. My weigh in is at 6pm. I always take a piece of fruit & a fibre bar with me to eat at the class with a cup of tea, after weigh-in. The only thing I do endeavour to do on a Monday daytime is to keep my meals lighter, not have any heavy carbs, and to keep my salt intake lower, so that I don't retain too much fluid during the day.
I hop on my scales at home just before class, and they weigh me between 0.2-0.5lb lighter than the class ones, which isn't a bad difference. When I weigh on a Wednesday morning to log my loss for here, I am invariably 2lb lighter than my Monday evening weigh in IYKWIM.
I think if you have an evening class you just accept that you're weighing a bit heavier than in the morning, but of course you are weighing at the same time each week, so your losses are reflected fairly enough. Most members also tend to try to wear the same clothes for weighing in each week, or similarly weighted clothes, so I'd never weigh in wearing jeans, and wear light cotton trousers, and I even remove my watch/sunglasses before getting on the scales.
Well I'm reporting a -1lb loss for me this week, which isn't bad, as I haven't really been attacking the weight loss properly. I have been going to the gym more regularly again, and trying to stay more active at home where I can too (hence I don't get on here as often).
I've been sticking to the plan from Monday though, so hoping to see that reflected next week. I'm off to Liverpool to my BFF's, and am determined to not eat rubbish there, as is often all that's on offer, so to combat that, am thinking of taking my own food with me! She also has some gym equipment that she bought, but hasn't used yet, so I want to try to get a couple of hours on there.... maybe show her how to use it?!
I'm also making the birthday cake/cupcakes to take with me, so I won't really feel like eating much of those.
Well done to the losers this week, and well done on the marathon challenge all taking part....GO! BEANIE! (I'm appointing myself as chief Beanie mascot/supporter from the sofa) *waves flag*One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

About carbs, I've found it was the white refined stuff that was no good for me. I eat bread, but it's the wholemeal granary kind, never white. Also nothing made with white flour/white sugar e.g. cakes, biscuits, pies, all those kind of things. Don't often eat rice or pasta.
Yeah i only ever eat brown bread, but wanted to see if 2 weeks without it would make a difference. The only difference im seeing is im missing it more lol. Also when im having bread, i find that i don't actually have to eat much so im taking in fewer calories. Also like you i don't eat cakes, biscuits etc. and nothing that's got white flour in it either.0 -

I am reporting a 3LB LOSS this week Thank you Fred :A
So according to my calculations that means I have finally hit my target weight loss of 8 stone :j:j:jConsidering at the start I wanted to loose 56lb and I have now done 112lb I cannot believe how far I have come
According to my BMI I am still overweight but I think I am going to have to accept that the BMI is wrong. Lots of people are commenting on how "healthy" I am looking, And most of the people I see at work don't believe it is me :rotfl: (which means I can get away with mischeif)
So my goal now is to not put it all back on again but to continue with my running as I am going to run the 5km Race for life 2011 Yay Go Me!
Well done to all the losers and marathon people this week :T To everyone else keep plodding as it can be done I am proof of thatRestarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed
Need to loose 25lb / 3lb lost so far0
