Oops sorry Fred, my start weight was 211lb.
I still cant believe I'm 14 stone something. Its like WOW! how did that happen? Last time I looked I was nearly 18 stone.

I think maybe I'm going to start some upper body exercising. Does anyone know any good exercises for reducing the boobage?

    Jogged 3.49 miles x 2 = so 6.98 miles (or 11 km) in total. Took me a whopping 1½ hours 1.gif

Did Day 33 of Insanity this morning then decided to do the same jogging route I did last Thursday.

It took me 1 hour and 26 minutes. Shaved a whopping 4mins off my last time :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I think it would have been more but there were some little distractions. My 9 year old son came with me - he was on his bike. I had to stop to adjust his hood when it started to rain; then my laces came undone and had to tie them back; then we stopped at my final stop (Sainsbury's) for a pee. Son stayed outside with his bike then just as I was about to start sprinting again, he decided he wanted to pee so I had to wait but it was ok jogging back so I'm hoping to get down to 80mins next week ;)

So Fred, please add 6.98 miles (or 11 km) - 1 hour 26mins to my marathon challenge please. Thanks :j:j

    Seconded! ;)

Get yourself a wax vix! Or get the wilkinson bikini trimmer - half price in Boots at the mo! :money:

Last night I felt awful, just dreadful, and when OH got home I was in floods of tears about how miserable I am with everything - well, work and weight - but they seem like everything when that's all you do and think about all day. I really need a new job but I am looking and looking and can't find anything. I'm getting no responses from anyone I contact and I'm beginning to feel it's hopeless.

I'm lying awake until about 3am every night worrying. I wanted to have my life sorted by now. Not completely sorted, but I wanted to be on track. I wanted to have enough savings by now to just start thinking about a house, or a baby, or just to feel stable and secure, you know? But in my current job there is no stability and I earn so little some months that I actually have to 'pay' myself a bit extra out of my paltry savings just to get by, pay the bills, etc. This job is actually costing me money and to add insult to injury i've got to do a tax return I can't afford soon :(

I think I am just comfort eating every day and getting fatter and fatter. At the moment going out for a run every other day is the only thing keeping me sane as it's something to focus on and it's getting me out of the house and giving me some time to relax and get away from my thoughts.

Sorry to ramble/moan. I dont really have anyone to talk to about how I'm really feeling - OH works so hard he doesn't deserve to come home to me a crying mess every night.

Yup - well done alliwant - staggering achievemnt. And it is great to hear you are not resting on your laurels, and know that keeping it off is the next challenge (that you will suceed in)

Beanie - more cycling! Looking good from the sofa.

Thanks Brighton Belle it is nice to know someone else see's the keeping it off as a challenge too. To be honest this is the bit I am most scared of:eek: Letting go of the reigns a little as I know this is where things can go badly wrong for people and I don't want to be back where I was 15 months ago.

Alliwant - do you want me to move you to the maintainers area of the chart?

That sounds great thank you. I would feel honoured to be moved now I think I have earn't it :A

Thanks for your comments Betty and don't apologise about coming here for a moan, if you feel better for it being off your chest then moan away hun. If the running is making you feel good then concentrate on that at present. Forget about your weight, you know you can eat sensibly so take a few weeks off. I'm sure your OH doesn't mind you being a mess either as I expect he wants you to be happy too. Make that your 1st priority to get yourself feeling better then get back on the weight wagon. And on a side note well done on your running :D addictive isn't it ;)

Just completed Run 1 of week 6 ( I cannot believe how quick these weeks are going ) I am surprised how easily your body adapts to different exercise and how quickly you recover. Still no where near Matryoshka fitness or time but I am happy in my own little running bubble :D

Fred - can you put down another 2.96 miles on my marathon too Thank you

    Fantastic alliwantistosave!!! :j

Really great news when someone reaches target! :D Keeping it off is definitely a challenge, but if you don't take your eye off things you should be OK!

I've maintained for over three years now and the running definitely helps, not just because it burns a lot of calories, but if I gain so much as half a kilo I can really feel the extra weight when I'm running and I hate it, so it's incentive to get rid.

Good luck and well done! :T

Anyone else close to target at the mo?

When I weighed last Friday, I was 10 stones. My target weight is 9½ stones. Don't know what I'll weigh tomorrow ;)

I forgot to log my marathon distance yesterday (and my 0.4lbs gain wasn't registered either) I have travelled a total of 24.5 miles since 1st April (including last week's number), This is walking, running cycling and swimming (as this was what I decided to include). I am amazed that it is so much as I haven't planned to cover any distance for the challange on purpose, just logging my every day activities. I think I could aim for the double marathon depite initially thinking the half marathon would suit me best! Not at work net week though so will definitely not maintain this rate.
