Congratulations to all of the losers this week!
Alliwant - That is AMAZING!!! :j:j:j Congratulations!
Kittykat - Welcome to the group! Are you online for weightwatchers or going to group meetings?
Betty - Hope things pick up for you soon.0 -
thanks for the well wishes everyone. spoke to some recruiters today, hopefully I can get a temp job or something in the meantime. Also told my current boss that i'm not feeling at my best right nowI forgot to log my marathon distance yesterday (and my 0.4lbs gain wasn't registered either) I have travelled a total of 24.5 miles since 1st April (including last week's number), This is walking, running cycling and swimming (as this was what I decided to include). I am amazed that it is so much as I haven't planned to cover any distance for the challange on purpose, just logging my every day activities. I think I could aim for the double marathon depite initially thinking the half marathon would suit me best! Not at work net week though so will definitely not maintain this rate.
well done! :j
Feeling a bit more cheerful having done another run - i feel like i have something to aim for, you know. even if it's only a small goal, self-improvement is a good thing
2.5 miles today!Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

Well done betty on your run distance. I am impressed! I know what you mean about life chuck, i feel that i should be sorted in a career by now, and more sorted with the direction of my life. I'm applying and getting no where in a job i hate. Its really hard but we will make it
Congratulations alliwant!!!!!!!!!!!0 -

Amended the chart ready for next week - sorry.Oops sorry Fred, my start weight was 211lb.
I still cant believe I'm 14 stone something. Its like WOW! how did that happen? Last time I looked I was nearly 18 stone.I forgot to log my marathon distance yesterday (and my 0.4lbs gain wasn't registered either) I have travelled a total of 24.5 miles since 1st April (including last week's number), This is walking, running cycling and swimming (as this was what I decided to include). Please add towards my marathon challenge; Crosstrainer - 1 hour - 5.71K/3.5 miles

Glad you feel a bit better today betty - don't ever worry about telling us how you feel, I certainly don't see it as 'having a moan'. Often getting it off your chest can be part of the catalist for finding solutions. And it is good you told our OH - he'll have been picking up vibes I'm sure and clear communication is better. If he was anything like my OH he might worry it was him otherwise.
If it is any consolation betty and vix, I felt exactly the same at 25 - thought I should have been sorted by then, but actually, I lived in a bedsit and certainly had no relationship on the horizon and was struggling with professional exams that made me very miserable (and the end of that story is it didn't enhance my 'career' one jot). And it seems like people my age I knew were sorted. But although a few were, you find out in the end it wasn't so for many.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
