watched the Dead fat programme before I went for my week 5 run/walk and I have to say it made me concentrate more on the running. Seeing all the yellow fat around the organs has scared me about what a state my body is in. I almost want to go for a MRI scan to see what mine is like. Was nice to finally see what Eric's bod pod looked like too.
I'm out for a meal tonight and I was going to have a burger but now funnily enough I see a salad coming instead
oh yeah meant to say they had a bodpod
but more excitingly in the background they had a dexa scan
which can do bone density and musle mass

on the whole that program was fascinating, and extremly well done
been trying to download it with no sucess ....
oh and people say i look 10 years yonger0 -
Hi Beanie, \Efrieze & everyone else!
Thanks for the welcome back. Life isn't too bad at the minute. I'm back living with the folks as I'm trying to save a deposit for my own place. I'm sharing a room with DS (age 5) and there are definitely more tough days than easy days. The up side is, I'm able to get to the gym 3 times a week (built in babysitters!) so I'm hoping to finally get off the 6 1/2 excess stone I put on during my relationship with my ex husband.
As for the Dead Fat program. It really scared the bejeepers out of me - and I had to share (well I dont like to suffer alone lol). There was a live tv debate on over here on Tuesday night about the show and Stephen Nolan was presenting that too. He did say that making the programme shocked him so much he lost five stone. but has subsequently put 6 back on, and I have to say it shows! The man has deeper issues than simply eating too much and yes - he looks much older than his 37 years. If you like him as a presenter - as far as I know he also has a regular show on radio 5 live - he can be quite controversial but is a very good journalist.. ( he can annoy the carp out of anyone).
Anyway - I've allocated this year to shift the weigh and already I'm in April and haven't got any off. So, I'll be popping back again for more motivation and the odd boot up the behind!

I was going to say Eric it's on thebox website if you hadn't found it elsewhere.
After my fab loss yesterday I tempted fate and got on the scales yesterday and 1lb has gone back on - I'm guessing this was because I had a two small bread buns yesterday (first bbq of the year, bought lots of salad, real meat etc, but then forgot to just have the meat and salad and ate two rolls!) so the carbs are holding more water. Planning to spend most of the weekend clearing concrete in the garden, should be some good exercise.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Did Day 27 of Insanity this morning: Plyometric cardio circuit.
Then went to the gym. Lost 2 Ibs so weight back down to 10 stones. 7Ibs away from my target weight of 9½ stones.
Used the crosstrainer (was focused more on calorie burn rather than distance for the marathon challenge :rotfl:so put the level up which is much harder to speed up but burns more)
1 hour on the crosstrainer (burnt 580 calories :j): 7.24K (which google says is: 4.49872743 miles) so add this to my challenge please Fred
Rest day tomorrow (no Pilates nor Zumba) as taking the kids to the cinema. The weather will hopefully be lovelySECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:

Anyone have any ideas/insight into what the above's all about? I phoned for more info & was told it's £20 per week - FOR 14 WEEKS!!!! but she was very cagey about exactly what the medication is - said I'd need to make an appointment to consult with their doctor.0 -
