Thanks Beanie and Alliwant.TBH I wasent really taking much notice of the cycling thingy.
What is the challange?
Ive just thought that I do some cycling at the gym at the GP referral class.
We ended up going for a marathon (or a half, or double marathon). It was initially jogging, running, or walking, but we're now including the crosstrainer, so might be able to add the bike as well?
Would be better for me if we could as I'm struggling to get on the treadmill when I want to - I'm in a semi-detatched house (with very thin walls!) so I feel really guilty for being so noisy as I know my neighbour will hear it! She's lovely and won't mind, but I still feel bad, lol!
Well I'm adding another 3.21 km (1.99 miles), that makes 5.21 km (3.50 miles) in total.
Fred - I'm keeping a running total on my phone (no space on my siggy!). Should I just post my total each time, or is it easier for you if I post what I've done that day/week?0 -
Lolly I don't mind how often you post your results - whenever you post them I'll pick them up so it's whatever is easier for you.
Beanie - if the cycling that you do at the GP referal will mean you can take part in the challenge post the distance you've done and I'll add it to the chart :j. Do you want to do a half marathon or marathon?0 -
Happy Sunday y'all.
Rushed out of the house to the gym this morning for my Aerobics class. Got to the gym at 08:43. Great, I have 2 mins to spare. I dashed into the locker room, put my bag down, rushed to the studio to find it empty. I wondered what was going on then I remembered the class started at 09:45 NOT 08:45 :rotfl::rotfl:I was an hour early so I jumped on the crosstrainer.
Fred, 1 hour - 5.73k (529 calories). According to google,
5.73 kilometers = 3.56045693 miles
Then aerobics for 1 hour
Then BodyTone for 1 hour

Gained 4 lbs. Wish I knew what I am doing wrong, but work as hard as I can at exercising 30 minutes daily, and trying to use low fat food, and I am not losing weight, But the doctor is going to check my thyroid maybe that is the problemTime is more valuable than money. You can get more money but you can't get more time0

Hopefully your Doc will be able to get to the bottom of it but I watched a programme the other day where a model was put on low fat food for a month. She gained weight by the end of it :eek:SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:

I thought i would be losing my crutches and boot on thurs, but no, got 2 weeks of learning to walk properly again. Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
So yea. No need to go to the gym and do upper body, walking on crutches is better than anything i've done at the gym!
Good new lolly!
No idea where my apetite or desire for food has gone....yesterday i ate toast followed by a sandwich and crisps (because i didn't know when i'd eat again next) turns out it was a good 9 hours later, still didn't feel hungry but thought i should have something because i was gunna be drinking so i had 6 chicken nuggets. Then from 9pm last night i didn't eat till about 2pm today (didn't feel hungry but thought i better had) and then from then to now i've had a chocolate mousse. Still don't feel hungry!!!!! So odd.0 -
Thanks fred.
Will add up my totals.

Thanks alliwant - hope you are enjoying c25k still. I did week 1 run 3 today, so on tuesday I get to start week 2! I am finding it easier each time, today I was actually suprised when the lady on the podcast said 'stop running' cos I wasn't tried yet! So exited about progressing to the nest week's podcasts, and a bit scared it's going to get too difficult soon!
Fred, I did 2.3 miles today
