Lose Weight 32

Gutted to report the scale said a gain of 0.4lbs which is totally unfair. I demand I recount!!! Maybe its an adjustment from a good loss last week, and maybe it's just not my week. Oh well. I won't be weighing in next week as I am away. Good luck to the rest of you.0

really struggling atm with weight loss. Tried to do some exercise about an hour ago but my 23months old just decided to sit on me so i couldnt do situps etc. my wii said i have a 1lbs loss this week but i cant stop eating biscuits at night and drinking coke throughout the day. I have been through so many different websites to research weight loss and have always watched programmes like biggest loser, supersize vs superskinny etc and i dont eat nearly as much as the people on them shows but still i cannot lose the weight. if i have a loss one week, then the next week will be a gain. I feel like just giving in and being a fatty for life but i really hate the way i look and really want to lose weight. I know alot of it is because of having two kids and not losing the weight after they were born but i was fat before i had them, not as big but still big.
Sorry bout the rant, just really pi55ed off.PAD Maker0 -

Don't give up. If your little one has an afternoon nap, can you workout then or do it before the kids wake up in the morning or take them to the park for a runaround or run with the buggy or leave them with someone for an hour or after they sleep at night or ........ hope you've cheered up (((hugs)))SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:

its difficult to get the old blood sugar / insulin imbalance under control and imo near impossible to loose weight long term and keep it off without doing so
the only good thing is that its not all you, you are fighting an out of balance biochemistry if that helps
as a side note situps are a very naff exercise, there far too low calorie burning to be effective for weight loss and there a poor exercise for core training, its also impossible to target fat burn
its more important to keep moving than anything else, small bursts of high intensity exercise are good for general health but have little impact on weight loss, you could maybe spend an hour playing with the little one where you keep active together (bouncing around) or if they want to sit on you do a plank and have them sit on you, far more effective than situps0 -
ah mandz sorry to hear you're struggling.
How old are the kids? Now the sun's making an appearance, perhaps you could take them for a run about in the park?Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

Mandz - I have discoveed the creche at the gym. I book it for 1 hour and do a class (Im not a member - just pay as I go as I cant always go every week). The creche is £1.80 and my class is £5. After my class, I pick up my son (4yr old) and we go swimming together for an hour. He loves the creche as his friends are there (I go with my mother and baby pals) and I never leave him for more than an hour. Its important for me as its the only time I have for myself and then we both look forward to the swimming fun afterwards. I packed a picnic lunch which we eat together in the park after all the exertion. Both my son and I love our gym morning
It is hard to be busy with little people about and I have work to do int he evening so this suits me best. It was gym morning today and after triple challenge, swim and picnic we ended up at a friends house where I did some trampolining. Im exhausted. Now, if you can afford it, a trampoline is an excellent idea - its one of the best exercises you can do and the kids will love it - easy to get some bouncing around done WITH the kids
Hubby is at home tomorrow so Im taking advantage and going to do and hours swim in the morning. After lunch, Im taking the my son horseriding for half and hour. We walk to the stables and back again so I get some exercise too (I dont do riding myself - just stand there worried he's going to fall off:o)
Thursday evening is my aqua aerobics night - Im going to be on my nose by the weekend...:money: Saving money, saving the environment and saving space (aka decluttering) - my motto this year!0
