Today I've had:

Having now seen it all down on paper, it doesn't seem a lot, does it? :rotfl:
Maybe I should have some rice to bulk me up :rotfl:SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:

I hope you're ok Vicki... now no more excuses - just go to the gym!... if you cant use your foot then do some upper body stuff or there's always horizontal jogging i suppose ;-)http://www.strathearnclinics.net/
Anyone have any ideas/insight into what the above's all about? I phoned for more info & was told it's £20 per week - FOR 14 WEEKS!!!! but she was very cagey about exactly what the medication is - said I'd need to make an appointment to consult with their doctor.
There are not many clues on google as to whats involved. I found a site with a couple of customer reviews that look suspiciously like they've been written by staff! Something that is controversial like diet pills, is bound to have some good comments and some bad comments too... so when all the comments arer good then alarm bells start to ring!0 -

sounds like the usual magic bullet BS, basically mugging people who cant be bothered to loose weight normally of there hard earned cash0 -
Hi Everyone,
Well I've had some good news this week. I've been battling Social Services for guardianship of my baby nephew for just over 6 months now, and I've just been given a date for him to move in!!! :j:j:j He's with us pretty much full time anyway, but it's nice to see an end in sight!
Well I watched that Dead Fat programme, and found it more sad than anything. It just showed how much of a burden excess weight can be, both mentally and physically. Then even when you're gone, it is still a burden, to whoever has to 'dispose' of your body. All that hassle and upset over a few extra burgers/pizzas/chocolate bars - it's just not worth it.
Well, I've been slacking lately. I've not been eating badly, just not sticking to any particular diet. I've not really been thinking about food so have just been eating whatever I can find, whenever I'm hungry. Determined to get back into dieting with the same motivation I had in Jan.
Weighed myself this morning (same as wed, but lower on the chart so close to the next lb) and am starting afresh today. The sunny weather is motivating me as I don't want to spend the summer in jeans and trousers as I did last year... Bring on the pretty summer dresses!!!0 -
I'm losing weight again. Now down to 71.9 kg this morning. I got to that a few weeks ago then bounced back into the 72s. I've organised with the GP to see a dietician, but I may not need to - if it's working just carry on as I am.
Now I'm not taking statins I can eat grapefruit again, and what a treat it was to have half a grapefruit for breakfast this morning!
I missed most of my exercise this week. Went to stretch and tone on Monday but my swimming lesson Tuesday was cancelled because my swimming teacher has hurt his back. I went for practice Thursday evening, did a bit of swimming, but cancelled my lesson Friday because I woke with a headache that hung around all day. Thankfully it's gone now.

Ive just rushed through the last 10 pages of the thread. It moves so fast....
I weighed this morning and Im a smidge over 12 stone. So 3/4 stone lost. Ive been swimming once a week and doing my aqua aerobics - watching what I eat and trying not to snack (although I did have a bit of a snack fest last night). I am drinking a litre of water everyday (ontop of other drinks I have with meals, cups of tea/coffee etc) and I wonder if that is aslo aiding weight loss??
I am hoping that this time next week Im under 12 stone (the first time in over 4 years - its the barrier I cant seem to break).:money: Saving money, saving the environment and saving space (aka decluttering) - my motto this year!0 -
