    Can I clarify please?

A marathon should be walking or running, right? So a stint on the crosstrainer won't count, no? Just don't want to put the distance I did on the crosstrainer down if it doesn't count as a marathon.

    Thanks

Yes - walking and running only - no steppers or cross trainers will count.

Beanie, you up for a sofathon at their finishing post? I'll hand out the silver blankets and you can be in charge of the oxegen mask:D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

I'll join you on the sofa, so budge up. I'll also bring along plenty of cakes and a flask of tea. As Beanie said, life gets in the way, or rather hijacks you sometimes. I've been doing so much at home here, that even going to the gym has had to go by the wayside.

Sorry I've not really been posting much, but you all seem to be chatting along nicely anyway. Well done to all who have been losing. I had a STS last week, so it wasn't so bad that I forgot to post in time for the chart.

Margaretclare - well done with the swimming, what a brilliant achievement. I've never mastered the swimming, face in/out of water thing. I'm more of the poodle swimming head up sort of person.... it kind of works for me, and I'm not bothered about getting my hair wet, just not convinced I can do the head underwater without gills. Do let us know how you get on after seeing your GP, and if you get referred.

Alliwant - I hope your mum continues to battle on, and stay in reasonably good health.

Well I've been busy baking, making, and administrating, as well as a bit of decorating and DIY thrown into the mix. I had a bit of good news last week, when an editor of a glossy homes mag contacted a recent client, and asked for my details for my cakes. She's passed them onto a posh linen/perfume shop who have asked me for samples for a press launch next month. Fingers crossed they place the order, as it would be brilliant exposure for me. It's nice to know that I've been making an impression anyway. I've got 3 big orders come in for birthday celebrations, so things are picking up. In the meantime I've been sourcing materials, packaging and making my website. I've definitely not been idle, sat scoffing biscuits all day, honest!

I'd love to have taken part in the challenges, but I simply cannot commit to anything else right now. Right, I'd better get off and make my OH some dinner, as I've just noticed the time.

    Have a great w/end everyone.

Sweetcheeks13 and myself have both walked 22 miles along the canal today... were aiming to do the full 26 miles but my feet, calves, thighs, and a million other places on the body all decided that anything beyond 22 was simply not going to happen :-)

We set off at 11 this morning and got home at 9pm
