Have you noticed a significant change in your body shape yet? YOu must be knackered!

I know I'm losing weight and it makes you think twice before eating rubbish tbh as you'll wonder why you're killing yourself just to stuff your face so that's good, I suppose :rotfl:I haven't had a choccie in over 2 weeks and not missing it :j

Unfortunately, I didn't measure my waist before starting but according to my belt, it's going down. I, however, do have a BEFORE picture  I started Insanity mainly because of my mummy-tummy!!

  • How about a circuit or two of the M25? 117 miles or 188 km long. Hmmm, that is 3.9 miles a day to complete one circuit in April. We could challenge ourselves to see how many circuits we could do between us?

    M1 - 193 miles, or 311 km? 6.4 miles per day

    Hadrian's Wall 73 miles or 120 km

How many miles per day is doable?

efrieze, Matryoshka, PrincessJelly I've added you to the team challenge but I need your starting weights - you can pm me them in confidence or if you don't want to give me your starting weight I'll sort out an alternative.

For this months challenge - the London Marathon will be in a few weeks so how about we walk/run a marathon over April (as in additional walking/running)?
  • I am 132.5lbs.

Where are all the men? Hiding? 4.gif

I usually shy away from the treadmill in the gym but decided to give it a go today. Jogged 5k, at a steady level 7 though, and did it in almost 44mins. Will run faster next time :rotfl:

ran for 22 mins @ 5mph with a 1 min break when my HR spiked in the 170s, managed 7mph for 1 min after 30 mins, which is another first for me

BL usa was good these week, loved the easter egg hunt (600 eggs a team in a field :rotfl:)

BL auz temptation was a killer, locked in a room for 24 hours with high cal food once an hour, highest cal intake got immunity, girl ate 5k

Ooh, some good ideas! I'm not too good with distances so have no idea how many miles is do-able. I'm willing to put a lot of effort in though and go for quite a big challenge as I really need to start showing some good losses!

That's a good idea, very fitting. I'm wondering how I could monitor how far I've walked/jogged though. I do jogging on the wii, on Wii Fit and EA Sports Active, but I don't think they can give distances.

I've actually been wanting a treadmill for ages but have resisted until now by telling myself that I don't really need one. Maybe a jogging challenge could give me the excuse to buy one :D

If 1 marathon is not long enough the New York Marathon is usually the same weekend so you could do 2 marathons?

Betty - where are you hiding ? you have been quiet for a few days?

Here I am! Sorry i've not been around much this week. hope you are all well :)

I have been hiding - generally feeling miserable at the mo and gave up on all diet/exercise for a bit. work's getting me down, making me head for the crisps and choc with an 'oh sod it' attitude for a few days. Coming on here made me feel like a bit of a hypocrite!

I didnt finish Everest but I think I was only 1000 steps away as I did 1300 on the 28th according to my diary. I'm quite happy with almost making it - I know I would have completed it if it weren't for my holiday and subsequent illness!

Well done everyone on your losses this week :T
fred thanks for the chart sorry I haven't posted a result yesterday, I am basically stuck on 11st and not happy about it!

I only have April and May to lose a few lbs before my mini milestone, which is Glastonbury and my OH's 25th! Ideally, I'd like to be down to 10st by June, but I'm not sure that's realistic for me. 1lb a week would be about 10lbs by early june, I'd be SO happy with that.

Time for some new motivation - My new personal challenge is to exercise EVERY DAY for 4 weeks in a row! It might sound like a weird one, but I am funny about doing exercise every day, I prefer to space it out. But I would like to kick start my body, sort out my fitness and improve my mood - I think exercise will help do that.

I will be starting the C25k plan next week, running for 25 mins 3 times a week. The other days I will do Davina, Gym, Swim, Cycle or have a go on the Stepper.

Food wise, I have had my few days of miserable binging so I am ready to stick to my plan of 3 meals a day, no sweets and no snacks.

I'm feeling quite optimistic, but worried as I seem to always let myself down....
