Congrats to our SoTW Princessx and our SoTM Blink_sumday.
 Didn't ever think I'd be SoTW ever as we're always having people who lose 8lbs+ on here. Something to be proud of.(Though i hope i don't put it all back on)
Anyway, I'd like to join the Women's team (obvs) and again the 5lb challenge for April.
Time to do Insanity Pure Cardio now. Ahhh, it's gonna hurt lol.0 -
Well.... 30 day shred. I managed to complete a level one session yesterday and only missed the last few reverse crunches other than that I followed both the 'modified' and 'full' versions of each exercise depending on how I felt. I felt wobbly straight after the session, but had to shower and collect my littlest one from nursery so I did not have any down time. My calves were hurting immediately after, probably due to the 'skipping' motion. This continued all evening, but I was mobile. In the evening, if I stopped, even for a minute then my calves seized up a little which made sure I cleaned the kitchen properly, loaded the dishwasher etc, as the prospect of stopping kept me going!
I was not looking forward to getting up this morning as I thought I would really hurt, but I don't. My calves still hurt, and my back and shoulders feel like they have had a work out so that is good but I don't feel like I couldn't do it again today. The bad news is that my physio has just emailed me and told me to take it easy and no jumping around.... so no more 30 day shred for me for a little while. I might do the session, but change the cardio to something that I allowed to do. Watch this space!
Fred - Please sign me up for the next challenge, I am on team W.0 -

Where are all the men? Hiding?
I usually shy away from the treadmill in the gym but decided to give it a go today. Jogged 5k, at a steady level 7 though, and did it in almost 44mins. Will run faster next time :rotfl:SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:

Good work. I had running on treadmills...i can swim for ages, i can walk on a really high incline for ages...but can i jog for ages? No! Plus i feel a pratt that everyone else can go for ages and i need to stop after 5 mins (literally) so i just don't bother anymore!!0

Hey,
I'ma shameful +1 for last week (for two weeks in a row) my weigh day is tomorrow, but am very doubtful to have lost any. If it's any excuse I've been ill for over a week now, so have been comfort eating and eating things that are easy... ie. crisps, freddo bars, bread.
From monday I'm going to start anew and hopefully will start losing weight again!0
