Hey BB, havent seen you about in awhile!

80% raw vegan diet sounds...interesting bb!! Probably really good for you though.

I've noticed a salad in the fridge, can't tell you how much i'm craving that salad. I think i'll pop a few mushrooms with it to make it more yumtastic.

Ok so i havn't done the 1000ft. that I thought I'd get in before I leave for work. Just been too busy checking emails etc. Don't think I'll manage 1000ft. tomorrow either, but I will try and complete this in April, so yes Fred, I'll be bombarding you with PM's regarding progress with Everest. :D

Oh and I wouldn't mind Men vs. Women. I know us girls can easily take on the boys. :D

When i gained, i was mystefied because Insanity is so tough and whilst you're doing it, you can literally feel the fat melting off.
And she's not kidding. Well done on the loss :T:T:T That's marvelous. I've never lost that much in a week :rotfl:

And well done on your fit-test result :T

  • OK, my copy has now arrived in the post and I am working up the courage to actually do it... and I would like to know how many activity points I can log against it for Weight Watchers - any ideas?

An acceptable 2lbs loss for me this week, its going down that's the important thing.
I honestly thought I'd be showing a gain or at least a STS this week as my dog died last Thursday and if I'm honest I haven't really thought about food all week. I have however unconsciously stuck to my old fall back routine of cereal/sandwich/cook, and been taking my other dog out for long walks to try and get him to perk up a bit (he's missing the other one terribly).

    Hi Vix
I do still read everyday but I don't have much to say as I am not actively trying to lose weight any more and I am so committed to my new way of eating, it is hard to offer advice or opinions on a more normal diet with procressed food and sugar in.
I am at the very top end of my bmi and am just monitoring my weight and seeing avery very slow downward trend which is good;another half stone off would be great but it may take the rest of the year.

I've been doing the raw vegan diet for a month now. Can't believe it myself as I love meat (I'd already given up my beloved cheese 7 months ago). But my health continues to limit my life and when I read up on this diet, something just clicked inside me and I just knew this was the right thing to do. Don't worry, I still refuse to wear socks with my sandles..:rotfl:
I'm certainly eating very healthily and don't feel deprived. Lots of yummy avocado's, hummous & dates in the mix:D

I'm also busy de cluttering and have got rid of half of what I own in the last 2 months, so that has taken up more of my time.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Gosh, well done with that. I'm struggling to declutter.

Fred - I have put on 2lb this week. However - it was worse earlier this week, so I have given myself a stern talking to

  • I am reporting a 2lb Loss this week thanks Fred :A
Very happy with that after last weeks gain :(
But know my food has been a little up and down but have eaten more salad with the nicer weather. Also had more protein yesterday which stopped me being so hungry after exercise so I am going to keep doing that too.

Matryoshka - I don't think the 30 day shred would be for you, think you would find it too easy after insanity TBH

Safesound - sorry to hear about your dog, hope you manage to cheer the other one up soon and well done on the loss

Brighton Belle - Nice to see you on here :D Well done on the change in diet again I hope it is working for you x

Frogletina - well done on weighing in, glad it wasn't as bad as you thought

Vix - when are you getting that hoop then ? :rotfl:
    Restarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed

Need to loose 25lb / 3lb lost so far :(

Frog, there are some great de clutter blogs on line and I have become part of a huge online declutter community over the last 2 months: it really helped me stay motivated until it became enjoyably addictive.
One blog I follow, the OP has patiently got rid of one thing a day for a year and that has made a huge difference to her life.
Start small, don't be overwhelmed by the bigger picture.
