It's that time of month that I start asking what team challenge you want to do next month.
We can do Men v Women (or another suggestion) or a rematch of either N v S or Countries? Please post which one you'd like below and I'll announce the winner tomorrow night.
I'll not finish Everest by the end of the week sadly but I will continue into next month to complete it - if anyone else wants to continue and wants me to log their progress you can pm me your progress and I'll continue to post the progress chart on Wednesday's until everyone has finished. Please note the pm part as I won't log anything that is posted on the main thread.
Well done to everyone who's taken part (and those who have put up with us posting about flights and steps every day).
Now then puddings - what is your next challenge?0 -

72.7 kg this morning. That's - 0.5 kg from last Wednesday morning.
However, weight loss is still slow. When I got the new scales early November I weighed 74.4 kg, that was on the 4th November, a loss of only 1.7 kg, about 3 - 4 pounds!!
I'm continuing with my swimming lessons. All that stretching and pulling with the arms is certainly toning me up, trimming my waist etc. And the kicking is certainly strengthening my leg muscles. There are women out there half my age with rolls of fat round their middles, and now people are starting to shed the winter fleeces etc, you can see it.
I think I've just about got the exercise regime tailored to my needs. Stretch and tone in the WI Hall on Mondays, a lot of the people who go are fatter and unfitter even than I am, and a lot of it can be done using a chair for support. Swimming lesson twice a week, practice in one of the adult turn up and swim sessions. Walking with help of the trek-poles another day.
Dancing etc is just not possible, and who, in the name of anything, is 'rihanna'?

Fredsnail - I lost another 0.5lb last week, so that is a total of 3.5lbs for March.... a little bitter sweet, glad it is going the right way, sad I did not manage to hit my 5lb in March target. It can't have helped having four big family birthdays, a golden wedding anniversary, client lunches out.... and I wonder why I am overweight!!0

OMG guys, a miracle has occured! Last week i had gained for the first time since restarting in october. I had said it would be a miracle if I lost 3lbs to get to 5lbs lost for this month. Well i didn't just lose 3lbs, I lost 4lbs. I'm now 65.2kg
Shows that the gain last week was dodgy.
I'm so chuffed. When i gained, i was mystefied because Insanity is so tough and whilst you're doing it, you can literally feel the fat melting off.
Fred, I'm now upto 7300ft. I'm not sure if I'll complete Everest by tomorrow to be honest. That's another 4000ft. to go and at this point in time, completing Insanity is my main goal so don't want to jeopordise that by injuring myself. I'm usually someone who doesn't let a challenge go uncompleted, so I can potentially complete the 4000ft. today and tomorrow, but I won't, because I have work from 1.30pm to 9pm today till friday and depending on when i wake up, only have time to fit Insanity in. I'm gonna try and complete 1000ft. today (in about an hours time), and another 1000ft. tomorrow (if I have enough time and wake up as early as I did today), but that's it probably. Will try and complete the rest in April just as a personal achievement. Bit upset I didn't manage to complete it as before I started Insanity I had days when I could have easily done 1000ft. and more, but laziness crept in. Fortunately with Insanity, there is no room for laziness!
Anyway, day 17 of Insanity completed, well half. I was supposed to do Pure cardio and Cardio abs, but cos mum is busy in the kitchen, only did Cardio abs. But since tomorrow is supposed to be cardio recovery, will do Pure cardio tomorrow. Saturday im working, so gonna do saturdays workout on sunday as im not working then.0 -

Well done, you are doing really well!0 -
MargaretClare - you are a great example of slow steady persistance with both how you eat and your exercise regime. It shows exercise can improve your figure (and even more importantly your mobility) even if the weight loss is very very slow.
sts for me please fred. Really enjoying my 80% raw vegan dietI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
