*sigh* Sorry I didn't list my weight yesterday Fred, I'm still STS.
That makes 3 weeks, and I still don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've upped the exercise, I've cut back EVERYWHERE I can on calories, and I've had a positive mental attitude all week. I was convinced I would have lost something but no, nothing, not a sausage.
Sounds like you're doing all the right thingsAre you having enough sleep and drinking enough water?

Safesound - zigzagging sounds like a good idea to me - or try upping it by 20% for a week
I had a meeting with someone at the food disorders place yesterday and one of the things that she pointed out was that 1800 calories for somebody my size probably isnt enough, and i may lose more weight if i eat more than that each day... she thinks that one reason ive lost less than a stone in 3 months is maybe im in "starvation" mode. So am going to try throwing in the odd extra higher calorie meal, just like youre planning to do safesound so goodluck.
The nurse showed me a website that calculated my BMR and the results surprised me. Just by staying in bed i'd burn 2900cals, but then with the gym, the dog walking, and the stair climbing it increases it up to a whopping 4495 burned daily and the nurse suggested that for maximum weight loss I really shouldnt be saving from that more than 1000 each day, or in other words eat less than 3495 each day.
Do I really need to increase my food intake from 1800 calories daily up to 3495?? - OMG that's almost double the quantity of food that i eat presently!

The winners of this week's team challenge are the DIYers with a 12.7% loss this week.
Fred out of curiosity is it % overall body weight lost in a week? Because the DIY team with their combined starting weight of 2910 (lbs?), minus what they lost in the first 2 weeks of the challenge, would have had to lose over 300 between them this week to get 12.7%?
Or am I understanding it wrong? (Wouldn't be the first time!)

Well this morning I have been out for the 1st run of week 2 and feeling good. Started to get a little leg cramp at once point but kept going through it. But made sure I had a good stretch when I got home. :j
Well done on SOW - Samantha
And on Mandz1 for reaching the top of Everest 1st. Better get that party started cause the rest of us will be there soon
Safesound - When I hit a plateau I mixed up my calories a little but changing my exercise helped a great deal so try something different for a week or 2. The other advise I can give you is too not stress too much about it or else you will become obsessive. Also are you sure you are eating enough ? I would not recommend dropping even more calories per day even if you are zig-zagging. 900 calories a day is far below recommended daily allowance please be careful.Restarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed

Feeling very unwell today, been puking non stop since yesterday night and feeling very faint/dizzy. On an empty stomach so far. Only drank some 7up since i woke up. My body aches even more. Cancelled my shift at work too. Argh, i've never been this ill before.0

thats the hardest part of weight loss, you need to eat a decent amount to keep your metabloisum working flat out, getting the balance wrong is hard, eat too much and you wont loose weight
however eat to little and you go into starvation mode, or even worse like on those bloody dangerous VLCD diets a large portion of the weight loss comes from lean muscle mass which is disasterous and potentially fatal in the long term0
