Just wanted to report just got back from my c25k run 3 :j
Went out got 30% into it then my new mp3 player went flat  not impressed with it at allso walked home and picked up my old player and went out starting again (I must be mad) so I dread to think what my neighbours think :rotfl:
Hope you get out today Betty bit cold on the hands this morning have to admit.
Matryoshka and Princess_x you are far too fit to even be able to complete insanity I looked it up and I think the name says it all :rotfl:
Have a good day everyone all this talk of soup and cookies is making me hungry so off to grab a shower and lunch before going to work .Restarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed
Need to loose 25lb / 3lb lost so far0 -
hey,
just want to report a 1lb loss for last week making me 12st 4lb now... total loss of 11lb.
I have been doing some step ups but I have it all logged on home computer and as we moved a couple of weeks ago I still have no net, and may not have it for another month!!! :-(
Tried zumba last week and had a lot of fun, although I was dying after, so will be going again this week.0 -

Day 3: Cardio Power & Resistance - completed:j:j
I got up earlier whilst the kids are still in bed as 2 year old son kept on getting in the way yesterday :rotfl:
Now going for a well deserved cup of tea
Just done Plyometric cardio circuit. Boy am i knackered. I took a few breaks, mostly during the push up bits. I mean, i can do a proper push up, just not too many of them. :rotfl:I still have to do my daily Everest too, wanna see that through to the end.
Just in case i forget, i thought id do my starting measurement stats and then compare to the end. So when i measured yesterday, these were my measurements:
Bust: 32"
Underbust: 28"
Waist: 30"
Hips: 39" or 40" (dont know exactly where to measure lol)
Largest part of thighs: 24"
Hopefull those will decrease.
alliwantistosave, trust me I am nowhere near fit enough. The thing with Insanity for me is, although I find it hard, Im more determined to get to the end in each workout. It seems impossible at times, and I just want to give up, but I dont, because firstly i dont like giving up and secondly, i hate losing my personal battles. Plus, its all worth it if it means i get to have the body ive been wanting for ages.

1lb loss for me this week again which I am delighted with as have had a terrible week! Lots of work always equals lots of takeaways and drinking which I did although ate far less than I would have when I started! Pleased to have had a loss even though I had such a terrible week; will probably be more of the same this week but without the takeaways0

does anybody know if i make turkey soup from turkey thats been in the freezer, after ive cooked it, can i then freeze some portions again safely?0
-
Yes you can. I always say that aso long as you change the state of the meat (ie from raw to cooked) you can refreeze.0

I have spent ages reading through past posts and feel that I am in very good company here - all determined but not perfect!...
I just have a couple of Q's (I have only managed to get halfway through previous posts so far so forgive me):-
What day is weigh in?
How do I climb everest?
weigh in day is once a week whenever you want it to be, but Fred kindly creates the weekly chart late on a Wednesday, so many of us tend to post on a Wednesday simply to make it easier for her to find all our weekly weight submissions.
"virtual Everest" is an extra challenge that some of us are attempting for the month of March. It simply involves climbing the same height as it would be if we were actually climbing everest. Obviously we're not all posting from Nepal! instead we're using stairs at home or work, or a doorstep, or ladder, or stepmachine or whatever etc to get to the same height. The big target is 11,328' so you can imagine how many times we have to go up an 8' flight of stairs to get to that total.
I can tell you that it's absolutely knakcering! How people climb the real Everest in under a week, with ice and snow and deadly cravasses and restricted oxygen, well it's beyond me!0 -
