  • added 1 lb this week  I don't know why. I am being careful about my food and exercising 30 minutes daily. My stomache is shrinking and I look better, but the scales say no. Where do I go from here? :(

Makes me sick Victory. This is the man who when he was ill last year you flew out to comfort and help your mum. I think you should turn up with your siblings and they should just march you in with them. You own the property. It's your mother. He is behaving appallingly.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Sary - thanks for the soup recipe - I've now added it to the first post on the thread.

    Here's the updated Everest chart:

Victory - is there anything stopping you from going with your sibblings to Spain - ok you may not be allowed into the apartment - but there's nothing to stop you standing outside to load the car/van whatever with things that your sibblings pass to you from the inside.

We have had a beautiful day here today so dragged OH out for a walk in the sunshine :D Have to say I loved being out and about. Only problem we were late back so there wasn't much daylight left so I didn't want to go out for a run in the dark :( So a little annoyed with myself
So instead I took it out on the stairs instead........

Betty - Did you get out for run 1 today ? I want to know how you got on?

Fred - 182 sets of home stairs done today  Think I am going to feel that in the morning :rotfl:

    Victory - Sorry i'm speachless

This week's loss takes me to 7lbs loss overall so far, so I am trying to think of a non-food reward... any ideas folks? I don't have a bath, otherwise it would be a long soak with some Lush stuff that I have lying about. It also needs to be low/non cost as I am skint lol. I'm planning getting a manicure for the 1 stone reward, so I am saving up for that - I've never had one so I am excited about the prospect, and it's extra incentive! :j

How about a glossy/gossip magazine, or a new book from somewhere cheap like the Works?? Or buy a sachet of face mask (less than £1) and give yourself a DIY facial with cucumber on your eyes and some relaxing music.

Did my first day of c25k today!! It was so weird running about outside I felt quite selfconscious but I just stayed around our little block and luckily it was quite quiet. The podcasts were really great, good music to walk/run to and v helpful voice telling me when to stop/start. thanks alliwant!! I got really hot and puffed out but I never felt like i couldnt go on, which was good. OH is being very supportive (he even waited by the window to wave as I went past!!)
I am feeling v motivated now tho - gonna do another run on tuesday, and probably do some step up Everest tomorrow! :j
